Is it disrespectful if I just skip the class but then show up at the end to turn an assignment in?

I don't have the patience to sit through a 2hour lecture tonight and I've already wrote the paper so I'm definitely not about to take an L for it.And the teacher is anal so I can't just show up, turn it in, and then leave.

If you're really not going to go, just stop by their office afterwards and drop it off. Or drop it off before and leave a note saying you had anappointment or something. Its worked for me

I dont know why people care about the professor's feelings. Aint like its a super small class. Plus u are paying so u should be able to do whatever youwant. Well thats the way I feel but i chose not to get to know my professors though.

You should either e-mail it to the teacher, or walk in hand it and walk right out

just give up you're not going to graduate and you're not going to make money, ever

You sure he/she is collecting at the END of the lecture? I once skipped class and showed up in the last 5 minutes only to hand in a paper. Turns out I was oneof about a hundred students who had the same genius plan. Later that day...

"Today, I showed up late to a class to hand in a paper, but the professor collected it at the beginning of the class and marked a letter grade off toanyone who didn't hand it in then. FML."

turn your assignment in at the beginning, stay for 15 minutes AFTER ROLL IS TAKEN, LEAVE

i def think showing up at the start of class and leaving is better than showing at the end

is it disrespectful? it certainly is. i'd only advise it if you're doing well in the class and don't anticipate needing any favors from the prof(grade bump, letter of rec., etc.)

i mean i think that's a little much...but you're wasting a lot of money everytime you skip class. unless you're sick or insanelytired, just go. if you're on NT, just go to class.

i think some of these suggestions are pretty bad.

the only way i'm turning in the paper is IN CLASS at that time, i'm not risking it any other way to leave the teacher to make up some excuse.

so no e-mailing it, no sliding it under a door

1. Walk in the class
2. Put the assignment on the desk or whatever at the front
3. Leave a note with your name/student number/whatever info you need
4. ?????
5. PROFIT!!

i do it all the time. if it's a big class, just go at the end. pretend you are a friend of someone in class and just say you are turning it in for themcause he's sick.

Of course it's disrespectful, if I were a professor I would take letter grade(s) off of your grade if you were to show up like that.. 5-10 mins before theend of class.
