so your pants don't get caught in the chain ring aka death.

what's up with kids these days riding bikes? it's like they're taking their fondness for loud-colored sneakers and applying it to their bike'sframe.

typical trend-following sheep these days.

I have a feeling you know nothing about any of those three things...unless you somehow meant that as a compliment. Sure, it's growing a lot,and it is a trend to a lot of people, but this isn't some Soulja Boy dance

It's so that the chain/crank doesn't eat your pants. Ever since I saw my boy get his jeans split wide open and subsequently fall fromgetting caught, I've been rolling my pants leg up.

and yeah that's the video! I'm glad I wasn't imagining things

at dude calling skateboarding a fad. i personally have beenskateboarding for 20+ years, and most people i know have skated for close to that long. skateboarding was around before i found it too. what kinda fad laststhat long? i've been riding fixed for 3 years now, and lots of people have been riding longer than that. its called transportation. anyway, here'smine.

How much do these bikes usually weigh? They seem no more than 5 pounds.

I have a pair of drops just sitting in my closet collecting dust. What kind of handlebar tape / or grips do you recommend?
