I always thought Field Mob was highly respected? I don't know anyone who thinks they're wack. I think as far as what happened with DTP I think peoplefirst got exposed to Field Mob with that Ciara track which to some people probably came off as some generic rap group but they're more than that. Iremember when they first dropped dudes were comparin' them to Outkast and they held their own weight.
 
Much love for Field Mobb. Aside from Kast and UGK, this was the first southern group I really got into.
 
I mess with Field Mob heavily being that Im from the same city they're from ALBANY.
Back in the day it seemed they had potential
I remember back in their prime say 99-03 I used to walk in this local urban clothing store I used to walk in the store and grab all the latest rocawear enyceetc and see hella pics of them with famous ppl on the door
Its a shame hard they fell out smh
I saw Shawn J in the mall with his daughter like last summer no groupies no nothing but he did have the latest Jordans tho

from ashy to classy is their best work hands down. it's such a solid album.

Lyrically they both are good but I can't get with their odd production.
