And I liked soundgarden a lot, not so much audioslave and I agree with you about his voice being one of the best and his cover of "billie jean" was amazing imo.Originally Posted by T i c a l

Do you guys know who Chris Cornell is? You must not because I seriously don't see how anyone who has heard Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, or Audioslave could say that this is anything but pure, audible feces. He has one of the best, most distinguishable voices in the history of rock, and now he's singing over beats, and not just any beats, beats that belong on a Justin Timberlake or Nelly Furtado album.
Jesus !%#*#%* Christ.

You must be out of your mind man. Completely. Out. Of. Your. Mind. Seriously? Rock is genre of monotonous and mundane music? Wow.
I understand that you're a Timbo fan (enough to the point where you have him in your avy), but there is no way that producing beats for rock legends is ok, much less good. I'm not trying to argue here because you're a cool guy and it's obvious that our tastes in music are at completely different ends of the spectrum, but I don't see how you can like this crap. Have you heard of any of those bands I listed?

That's still one of the most erroneous statements I've ever seen in all my years on Niketalk. Saying something like that makes me think the amount ofrock you listen to is equal to the amount of copies this album would sell if everyone considering the purchase got to listen to it first. Fact is, he has anamazing voice but the music he makes sucks beyond belief unless he has a band of good musicians behind him and this new album proves it without a shadow of adoubt.
