I didn't take it like Anton was denying that he's the thread starter. I think it was just a poor, confusing choice of words. I mean the very next sentence he says he's "adjusted his view of him accordingly."

Basically Anton LaVey aka LIONBLOOD made this thread years ago to profess his respect for Ben Carson and his story. Fast forward to 2015 where Ben Carson is running for president and is saying some crazy off the wall stuff. A Nter bumps this thread and people begin to roast Ben Carson and Anton for making the thread in 2009. Anton aka LIONBLOOD admits he was wrong about Carson and he indicates that his views about Carson have evolved. Hilarity ensues. LIONBLOOD indicates that he has serviced dudes from time to time as a way of demonstrating that his views don't mesh with Ben Carson. Hilarity continues. Meth enters the thread to call LIONBLOOD out for claiming he wasn't Anton LaVey. Hilarity continues.

Even if you think he's a troll based on his previous posts/accounts, even if you think he's just saying "outrageous" things to rebel/get attention (like telling your religious parents that you're a Satanist), the bottom line is that NO ONE should be ridiculing ANYONE on here based on their sexuality.  
 
Ben Carson could have continued to sell books & charge speaking fees off of his embellished past. He was living the life. This dude's ambitions & ego got the best of him & decided to run for President. Not City Councilmen. Not Mayor. Not Governor. President. As if every aspect of his past wasn't going to be scrutinized at length.
Forget the fact that he's woefully uninformed on economics & foreign policy; This dude is not emotionally stable enough to be trusted with the levers of power.
 
Look at the way the appreciation for BC on the early pages of this post turned to hate as soon as BC comes out as a conservative man. Smh.

I've always known he was a conservative. I just didn't know his conservative views were idiotic and pandering to the people who don't even like the color of his skin.

This is all true but think of this crazy scenario. Lets say a republican becomes the president elect. Carson hasn't ruffled that many feathers other than some light shots at Trump.

There's possible good chances he could end up in the cabinet of that new republican president. So right there he's in a better place than he was if he didn't run.

In a crazier scenario (one of his probably), lets say he's the republican nominee and loses. Even then he's still in a better place than before and if it's close for even a few hrs near the end that's another book and a whole other tour of speeches where he tells us in his tame quiet pimp voice about how he and the GOP were robbed of the presidency.

He can make a lot of noise in losing and be in a better place even if none of those scenarios seem likely to you (or me) he believes it and that's probably what's driving. For guys like Carson and Trump you gotta expand the options for why they're doing this and what they'd get out of it knowing in their head they'll probably lose. I bet it's more important when they concede than anything else. Regardless of how the republican party is left in shambles.

Didn't we know he was conservative from the jump?

His theories about homosexuality and landmarks around the world has led to more negative opinion of him more than anything from what I've seen.

Could you really see a dude like him holding a position of power in our country?

Carson will lose. Then go on to write a book or two about his experience. He'LL become a talking head and possibly have a permanent seat on Fox.
