Fire Red III Retros Cracking (Scroll For Pics)

Ok so like the title says, my 07 Fire Red III retros are cracking all along both of the midsoles. I kept them DS all the way till this week and I've beenwearing them casually a lot. Anyone else having this problem with their Fire Reds or is this just because I kept them DS?
 
From what I can see, it looks like paint. The cracks aren't deep, and I kinda stretched them a little bit to see and they get worse when I do that. Ill tryto get some pics up but I don't know if I can get them on the net from my g1.
 
i wore mine about 7 times since RD. 1 time in the last year. mine are crispy crispy. like every1 else said tho put some pix up so we can see wat u talkin bout
 
my homie's are cracked/chipped. he got them in a trade and were like that when he got them. he does not care about it but it is a common problem withthe fire reds and 3's
 
well i have those too. it seems if you wear your sneakers casually like once every one or two months your sneakers wont crack or paint chip. cuz i have thesame problem i just bought themds and wore them and they started to chip. i have seen some people with VNDS 8's from 2002 and no paintchipping but when ibought them DS from flight club i started to see some paint chipping.

lesson: wear your sneakers at least once or twice to avoid paint chipping (sneakers that have paint like the 3's 8's 9's etc)
 
Pics coming right up... and i know what yall mean about wearing them regularly but its kinda hard to do that when youve got 80 somethin pairs lol.
 
bummer mines are still good because i know how to walk but it sucks just get a new pair

so you know how to walk but more than half of niketalk whose shoes crack dont know how to walk?

I used to walk funny to try to avoid messing up my shoes, but I decided to stop. I just walk casually now like whatever. N E Ways heres the pics, I hopeyall can see the cracks:

That just looks like the paint chipping. It is pretty much unavoidable. Mine have craked paint on the right foot, but not the left. Crap quality paint. Butat least it's just the paint and not the mid sole!
 
We've seen this type of cracking/peeling before.
There's nothing you can really do about that.
For some reason some pairs crack and others don't.
I think it's the type of paint they use because I haven't really seen
Nike retros with the same type of sole do this.
 
My cool greys and my fire reds are both doing that. I rotate regulary with each getting a wear every couple months or so. Same rotation as my mochas and'03 wht/cements and no problems there. This is why I sold my spare pair of reds and am about to part with the CGs. this is nonsense.
