Im not so sure its a "worked" in issue. I have some other non jordan nike retros from 05 that I just wore for the first time, and theyhad the paint start to crack. then I try another 2000 pair brand new broken out a few weeks ago and they are FINE..

I think its all about the era in when the shoes were made

I bought some 06 retros first in line, worn right away back in 06.. you cant get much fresher than that, and the chipping was there. I think the 03 cements arejust better quality all around

The paint on these does have a tendency to crack quite easily, but it seems like yours are worse than usual.
 
Cracking depends on so much things : weight, location (humidity), way of stocking, etc ... My flips and my laser 4's does the same, such as my infrared6's, but my oly 6's or Navy does not, even if i stock them all the same way, wear them all seasons, rotate, etc ... so i think it's normal that ashoe has a life of it's own ... But definitely, painting on last retroes is crappy ...
 
common problem for III's..buy angelus paint if you love shoes with painted midsoles.. to maintain the paint
 
My Military Blue Retro IV's are both cracking right now. I've worn probably a total of 10 times. Great quality shoe huh?

My Fire Red III's are DS, and I noticed after going to rotate them the other night that the back vinyl tab is slowly turning yellow at the heel where thejumpman air logo is, right above the cement print. WTH?! Is there a good way to clean this? It looks like it's somehow stained or dyed, but they arecompletely unworn DS, and weren't like that when I purchased them?


JB been putting out real quality retros huh?

yea i too un ds a pair likeearly january i cant even put them back on my feet they look so hurt, but the pair i had since the release date and wore they had nocracks

No big deal what so ever. its a shoe. u put all your weight on a shoe when u walk, its suppose to do that. there aint nothing wrong with the quailty of thatshoe or any other Air Jordan. My III's look fine. How bad are Jordan critics getting when an authentic shoe is now considered cheap??? It breaks my heartto see so called loyal "JordanHeads" turn there back on JB. Like U can do any better!

Being loyal does not mean being stupid, we are loyal to JB because JB stated the highest level of quality for the last 20 years, but early reroes does notrespect what JB means to us, they look like crap, they feel like crap, you can't wear a pair more than 10 times before they torn apart, $*! ?
If you own an og or even 2K retroes you know what i mean, if you don't get yourself a pair and compare ...
 
my pair is about to do that if i wear them one or two times more. the paint is lifted at the crease but has not actually cracked.
 
That's not bad at all. It happens. They're shoes. My girl's CG 4s are like this, and she wears 'em 2 or 3 times a month. I know CG 4s are mucholder than FR 3s, but it happens.
 
I have a pair of white cement spizikes that are cracking the same way same place. I have worne them about 10 times. Everything is perfect accept for the solesbecause I have worn them outside and the same cracking the guy is talking about. Could I call them VNDS with these two things, the soles and the cracking?

its unfortunate but watever

hopefully the jordan brand does a whole new re-releasse of their signature line with better quality than ever before, similar to what nike did wit the airforce one. but hey thats just wishful thinking

i wore my cements spizikes like 4 times and they are perfect. hmmmm
 
Mine are the same way. I hate that the shoes are like that, but thats the way JB is lately.
