It was said best on XM/Serious Satellite Radio the other day when I was listening and they had Steve Rifkin on throwing questions at him...


"You sign the kid on to rap.....you pay money for his promotion and for him to make music....

....and THIS is the best song the kid could come up with?!?!?!?!"

Nah.

The concept of the song is perfect for THIS type of dude. They played it safe with this. They could of tried something WAY different but would be risky to seehow people would take it. And I'm now realizing this is the same song radio out here have been playing a lot lately. Dudes definitely getting a lot ofairplay with this. But just stop with the Em comparisons. He ain't Em.

Pretty much explains my thoughts. dude is not a fgreat rapper or anything by any means, but he has MASS APPEAL to the suburban white kids, and will probably be big because of so. I dont expect to go through the projects and hear this +!$# bumpin though.

the beat changed because the guy from weezer wouldnt clear the sample. so they had to remix it to clear it.
