What do you think about retro 1's

I'am a huge fan of the 1, my first pair was a 2001 retro navy/silver and it started it all for me, and today the 1 still have a particular place in mycollection (about 60 pairs, nothing after the XIII).
During the last 3 years i see the 1 retroed in every f.... way, from og colorway to stupid tribe called quest version, making the 1's looking as simpledunks, and it's killing my love for JB.
Far from the eternal debate about quality, i just want to know how you people react specifically about how JB treat the 1's.
 
personally, I don't like it that's why I don't buy any of those crap anymore. JB keep making them, obviously there are people pay money to buythem..
 
I'm pissed that JB have released so many AJ I's last year and it looks like it will happen again this year. But some of the releases were pretty nice.

JB needs to stop with all the 1's. IMO some are not that bad like brooklynnyc said but there are way too many. Out of the 91 pairs of Jordan's I own,15 of them are 1's. If JB continues this trend however imagine what they have planned for the other sig. line Jordan's. Could you imagine 10-20 pairsof XI's being released in a two year span?

That's exactly what i wanted to explain, what is the point (except for money of course) to produce so much and many different version of this model, exceptmaking it common and desperatly predictable and in the end ... boring.
 
I'm not a huge fan of Is and the overkill on colorways is not helping that at all. there have been a few nice ones but way too many overall
 
I didn't like them because they looked to much like dunks, but they grew on me.

I'm gonna get the 60+ pack and maybe the hares, which will be the first time owning a pair.
 
i like some that are coming out but others are just

I likee the ones but i think some of new 1s coming out are nice but way to much is releasing -_-
 
It doesn't bother me because JB doesn't just make shoes for me. They make shoes to appeal to everyone, if they put out a color I don't like Idon't cop. That's like getting mad
at Quaker Steak for having to many sauce flavors for their wings and ruining the legacy of the OG hot sauce.
 
Mark my words, many people are gonna be pissed after passing on the black/max oqnge joints. I'm getting at least 3 pairs
 
i agree that too many 1's have came out but i really enjoyed the olympics and charity's last year, max orange is looking pretty nice too
 
Yeah, I only own the BMPs... I thought the infareds had potential, but they look like Halloween shoes and the nylon is just weird!
 
that is exactly how i feel. i use to kill people to cop new pairs of ones, but latley i have been passing on every one.
 
i love the aj1. and i kinda hate how JB is stripping it of its dignity. atleast if they gonna keep on retroing it give it some decent CWs. since they areflooding the market with it, ppl will not care for them anymore. shame on JB
