NT, how do I cut down on smoking?

I smoke way too much...it's to the point that everytime I come down I wanna just get high again...ima mess...anyone know anything I can do that wouldmentally stop me from wanting to smoke so damn much???

its not really hard to quit smoking weed for me. i'd try going cold turkey for a couple days until the urge stops.
 
Im in the same boat man. After a long day of work, I just want to unwind and get high. I've been smoking constantly for the past 3 years. The longest Iwent was 2 months. I noticed when I was exercising, I didn't really have the urge to smoke. I just started working out again but I'm still feening. Itcan be done, best advice I can give you is to stop gradually. Some people can go cold turkey, but I can't. I smoked everyday, gained weight, and ateunhealthy. Now I limit it to the weekends, but I want to completely stop, but once the paycheck comes in, it's hard not to call up my connects and pick up.It can be done, if your mind is committed to it.
 
Find something else to do when you wanna smoke. Chew gum? I dunno, when I wanted to stop, I just quit then and there. I got the urge once or twice, like"Damn I wish I had some dank" but didnt act on it.
 
yeah psychology, it Fs me up when I try a whole day to not smoke...I really wanna cut down though, for real...just can't mentally break through...
 
I had a similar problem, but now I only smoke 1/2 bowl a day. Just gradually cut back and try to keep yourself busy so you don't have time to smoke.

look at how much you smoke on a 24 hour period and a 1 week period

cut down both by 15% every two weeks.

soon you will only smoke once a week...or casually

I quit tonight though, did the last nug. Great night, but I'll try to make my day greater tomorrow without it.

ok let me help you out on this one...
REcipe
1. 2 saltine crackers
2.peanut butter
3. REAL butter not margarine
Instructions
put peanut butter on both crackers
sprinkle .5 on each cracker
spread butter carefully on top of the point fives
the spread peanut butter on top of the butter
sandwhich them together
take some aluminum foil and wrap it up good to wear it would be LEAK PROOF!!!!!! it should look like a Mini size sandwhich wrapped in aluminum foil.
crank the oven to 375 degrees throw it in on the rack for 25-30 min.
its gonna come out smelling so good but its not gonna taste like it smells. its not gonna tasted bad either.its gonna taste like over cooked
oh yea the saltines should look brown.
EAT and dont have plans to go NOWHERE.
you have now successfully made AND enjoyed a "FIRECRACKER"

Well, all it took was one horrible experience for me to leave that stuff alone. Plus I'm applying for gov't internships so its all for the better. Ikinda know how you feel though. When I first started, it was like instead of me playin a game or something when I was bored, I would just wanna get highinstead. If you wanna quit then quit. It wasnt that hard for me at least. Cant lie though, I had some really fun nights and met a whole bunch of new peoplejust off that plant

its hard when you do it alone. do it with friends. i got a few friends who are pushing each other to stop the smoking.
 
i've quit smoking about as many times as i have smoked.

it's difficult, but having a female to kick it with that doesn't smoke helps out A LOT.

workout and get laid, thats the best i can come up with.

either that, or replace it with alcohol.
 
I think I smoke more pot the anyone else on NT. I'm pretty much high the whole day.
