Anyways, I understand when the original owners of the iPhone upgraded to the 3G model, but I don't see as many of the 3G owners upgrading to the new model (whenever it comes out). The only thing that the iPhone is currently lacking that would even warrant an upgrade would be MMS and copy/paste. Compared to the upgrade from EDGE to 3G, I don't see the next generation iPhone being that much more advanced than the current 3G model

I'll stick with my 3G.
-landscape keyboard
-battery life
-phone-phone connectivity
-phone-computer connectivity
-better camera i.e. higher mp, flash
-ichat
-MMS
-copy/paste
-++16gb

too unreal for me. i don't feel that apple would ever make the home button a quadrilateral. and co-sign on the meaning of 3G being the network it runs on,not a model number

i cannot wait for that phone. i'll leave my 3G in a minute. but, that rendering would never fly.. with that casing i'd like to see you get more than 2bars. which is the reason why apple went all plastic with the 3G iPhone.

man im still working with the 1gen iphone and when i came into this thread i was expecting failure no lie but wow my reactions were

I knew that this would be the next feature they would integrate into the phone. I know its going to run atleast 400-500 though.

Landscape keyboard? I don't really see this as a necessary feature. You have in Safari, I can understand wanting it for texting but it's not reallynecessary.

Battery life? What? The battery life is fine. Obviously it will be improved, but it's not a deal breaker, or even close to an issue, as it was with certainiPods.

Phone-phone connectivity? Bluetooth?

Phone computer connectivity?

Better camera? I'll give you that, although I don't think the iPhone camera is that bad.

iChat?

MMS/Copy and paste-these I can see as an important improvement that frankly should have been done with the 3G model.

Again, I do not believe Apple will release a product that will be such a far departure from the 3G model, which for me means, not worth buying.
