Koala claws are not on the canine tip, more like the grizzly bear tip:

And, I mean, I'm not trying to get into it with you, but Koala's are mainly nocturnal, so to really enjoy one as a pet you'd either have to alter your sleep pattern just so you can 'enjoy' your pet, or you change its pattern, which is cruel.

They need large amounts of eucalyptus, and a pretty big area to live in.

Plus they're endangered, which immediately makes it tough to start your multi-million dollar industry.

Believe me, when I was much younger I wanted one.
Those claws look simular to my dogs paws.

You mad you can't have one, doggie?

Just playing, Google'd for images and found that one, seemed fitting.

All I'm saying is that they look like they'd be sick to domesticate, but the fact is, they simply would not make good pets.

And their brains are super small, I don't know how much training you could give one.

And your dog paw image is broken, but I'll take your word for it.

On a side note, that's one hell of a drawing.

From the EPA website.

Conservation status
in the South East Queensland bioregion (an area from the New South Wales border to Gladstone and west to Toowoomba in the south and to Murgon in the north),the koala is listed as 'regionally vulnerable' under the Nature Conservation Act 1992. In the rest of Queensland it is "of least concern"(common) but still totally protected.

It would be pretty awesome to own a Koala.. get em declawed if you have to, not like you'd be letting it outside. I imagine it'd be difficult to pottytrain tho

That ashera cat though

Y'all posting up some ugly animals though. I wanna own a lion someday. And Panda > Koala, c'mon.
