Here is how NIKE ID can work for J's

i think like most things this would have it's ups and downs, but i would definitely cop a couple pairs
 
i have to admit, when i saw the title to this thread, i sighed and clicked on it ready to drop bombs. honestly it doesnt sound like the worst idea. looks likeu put alot of thought into it. thas wassup. but like MethRer1A said, keep retros away from ID.

literally 2 minutes ago i was looking at another thread where this guy posted these, he must just keep it copied and paste it into every jbforum...and i dont think they are talking about customizing and laser engraving current kicks, they are talking about making new ones...congrats i guess hesproud of his shoes haha
 
Who cares if every1 is thinkin ur wearing fakes????? Y is every1 so stuck on this. If u kno ur shoes are real thats all that matters. People prob think some ofthe real shoes u wear are fakes. Who cares. Would that stop u from buying a HOH exclusive or a player P.E. if u could acquire 1? I bet it wouldnt. And every1would still think ur "Ray Allen VIII's" are fake cuz they didnt see them in footlocker. Give it a rest

O.P. this topic comes up a lot but u had some nice ideas on how to execute this. Nike/JB prob wouldnt do this tho. Basically cuz theyre cheap. And if they dothe prices would be insane. i.e. Bespoke I.D.'s

i gotta strongly agree wit u on this, i dunt care who thinks i got fakes on or not. they aint no1 to me lol. and if they say suttin to me ill letem know wassup. educate them and make em feel stupid lol. and like ya said. give it a rest! it aint a contest, its a hobby. its a passion, not a competition.

It wouldnt work though because even though you cant make your own OG or retro colorways, cant you make your own PE colorways? and that would lower the value ofsomebody who owned an air jordan PE from any athlete. Just putting it out there...
 
good job thinking through everything but i think it should only be available to limited nike accounts and have to make so many purchases as well imo

this could work, but limit the amount for purchase every day, and of course the price tag will be at least 150-170
 
The thing is that JB would never offer the best leather or suede. They don't know what good leather and suede looks like anymore.

I'm just against the idea of customizing Js, I honestly hate seeing them in any color other than OGs or early retro+ colors. I'm sure most would agreewith me.
 
It seems like a good idea, but of course there would be kinks for JB to work out, because as you all know theyre in it for the money like any other business,seems pretty good thuogh, 250 seems steep, but many would have np payin that kinda dough
 
nah i hate the idea. the point of collecting jordans and being a sneakerhead is to be on the look out for the new CW and new retros coming out. The fun partabout collecting shoes is having the anxiety and adrenaline rush of trying to find out when the release dates are and rushing to the store to cop a pair. Thepoint of collecting is so that you have a pair that was limited and not everyone was able to get. The reason these forums exist is because we dont have theability to just get any shoe in any color whenever we want, so we log on to NT and try to figure things out.

Plus where would u draw the line on the CW from not making it an OG. so now we cant use the color black, red, white. plus there are many numbered jordans (notOG CW) that are very valuable and limited. so with this now everyone will be able to pull a true blue 3 out of their crack.

this would make everything about jordan collecting boring. Not trying to be an a.ss about it, but with all respect to u man, good idea but i hope it neverhappens.
 
i think this would be a cool idea, but JB would never do....its not enough of a gimmick to be done cheaply, and they would charge sooo much if they ever didimplement it it would be a waste of time

Feelin' the feedback. i think there are still some misapprehensions about the idea though. This would be INSTEAD of CDP's or whatever super lmited ideaJB has for us next. There would still be other retros, GR's etc. The ID thing would just be an additional limited release. Also, it is very simple toprevent folks from ID'ing certain patterns, just like they prevent you from using banned words or certain material combinations. It would not meaneliminating entire color options.
