....wow....how ironic i post a thread literally minutes before thisthat relates to nike and its "classy" side and also have a member mention cole haan and see this crop up....they irony of it all
tongue.gif
....however i'm not really liking these...maybe a diff. CW or to see moreangles i dont know...but for now eh eh...

but yea should've been posted in the other brands forum....but thanks for the heads up

In a nicer cway, I could see myself rocking those to work. Not bad, wondering about the comfort now.

I could bowl in these.

Question is would they make me better?

Not much help for me in that department, lol.

Smooth. As i get older my taste changes this, and the Jordan Blase are the route my style is migrating towards.

^u arent the only one bub (on the taste and blase's- but not particularly on these cole haan's)

I really like those Blase's too but I thought the black ones were on sale at Eastbay for around $55 last time I checked, but now it's back to retail.

I want to like these, but I can't. The strip of leather that runs laterally down the center makes it looks like a women's bowling shoe.
It's too casual for work, but too dressy to wear with jeans...It's a shoe without a home.

Try again, Nike.

Zappos has a few different views, take a look.

I like the look, but it's kind of dumb. Isn't the whole purpose of flywire to be lightweight and provide lateral stability? When is that really anissue with dress shoes?

It's not a dress shoe, it is a casual shoe and I don't think it is too formal either.

The words why and bother come to mind.

The shoe is neither dressy nor is it interesting to look at, and they priced it at $168 too.

Nike claim to be embracing the considered concept, but then waste resources on this.

same thing i thought

Why do you need Flywire in that type of shoe?
Are you going to making hard cuts and quick start/stops?

My kind of dress-casual sneakers, even would prefer these over my Pradas/Gucci etc etc for everyday wear. Anyone know where I can find these in a 10? Looked all over online, no luck. Also, wouldn't mind picking them up in the NY/NJ area...
