First, these are not "dress" shoes, they are for casual wear. Cole Haan does have dress shoes that use Nike technology, though. As for the Flywire in this shoe, despite the obvious gimmick, I'm still sure it will make for a light shoe while serving as an interesting styling element. Probably a great shoe for people who have to do a lot a walking while still adhering to work standards (i.e. IT professionals).

I had a pair of their Air Ventura Oxfords and they are one of the most comfortable pair shoes I have ever owned:

 They get a lot of compliments too. Long story short, I'll check these Flywire ones out if I can find them on sale.
