Family members hating on interracial relationships

Aite so I took my girl to meet my family and we were having a good time taking pics and all that good stuff while we were there and later that night i get a call from my cousin like "YOU WITH A WHITE GIRL?!" so now im on the phone like @@! is wrong with that and next thing you know im in a heated debate over the phone about how it doesn't matter what race a person is nah mean? Anybody got experiences like this?

I have a white girlfriend. I haven't introduced her to my father yet but she's met my aunt, grandparents and some others and they all like her just fine. I'm sure my dad will be fine with it though cause my brother is dating a brown chick and he's fine with that.

My family doesn't care. I've had some female friends, not even girlfriends, whose parents were straight willing to disown her though for even associating with me:lol They justified it by saying they're "old fashioned."

my dad always says he'd disown me if i married a man that isn't either white or filipino. image it's unfortunate that i'm not really interested in either. he knows that in the end, his opinion is irrelevant. we shall see though. image

i was at this japanese chicks home, and the pops was straight mean mugging me asking me what my background was and all that. he had that kendricks perkins face, and im not even dating her. image

Yeah, I've dealt with this in the past for sure.

Some folks (parents or siblings of exs) were just mad because my surname wasn't along the lines of Nguyen, Kim, or Lin...SMH.

Man couldn't bring a white girl home if I tried

BTW I love my sistas.

Besides that's like a smack in the face to most black women because most of them are/or believe that they are the foundation of a black community/family. You bringing in you pouring that cream into the coffee kills the strength of that whole equation in their eye's. image

I'm not hating on any female race at all cuz I been with girl's from every race. I'm just saying why should I have to be the trapped in a situation where I have to think twice about introducing my fam to someone I care about regardless of what color she is? If my girl is cool as hell and respectful and got my best interest at hand why wouldn't I want her to meet my fam

Like I'm supposed to give a image what anybody else thinks about my love life imageimageimage Black women are under the impression that they OWN black men and can tell us how to be/act...

And black girls HATE it when you mention you've dated/like white women...soem of them do. Why ?

My parents would rather have me bring home an Asian broad.. But I'm just not feelin 'em.

However, they seem to be find with it. Almost as if they are expecting me to bring home a 'black' broad.

My dad wants me to marry a Filipina... but I'm no where near attracted to them. I don't think my Dad would disown me though.
