It's crazy and uffin frustrating.I wrote his his cross branding strategy and saw in XXL the next month with some of the %@* i recommended..

me and my business partner wrote up a proposal for a listening session for Jada @ a lounge in LES and no one got back to us. Now i get into a meeting forindependent "tastemakers" and insdustry heads to discuss marketing strategies for Jada and Ryan Leslie. My mans who works for Universal tells me howthey JUST holla'd @ him about how they pushed the album back so....

Explains a lot.

it's doesn't matter. Jadakiss got the banger with this " Kiss My A** (the song) " This mixtape is nice and it's good to hear Jada spitanyway. He still getting jerked, that's wack.

We was just talking about this....lastn ight....me and the homie ABH was talking about industry BS and politics and how watered down the game is...

I was just sitting in the meeting coasting. i wasnt even my usual objective self and ppl were shocked. smh. his product suks.

i swore Leslie's Sony but i guess he's Universal
 
At the end of the day its Jada's own fault for not living up to his end (making great music) and not staying on top of his biz.

I still dunno who's A&Ring this project. Something tells me it's Lenny S but with the caliber of his past work i dont want to believe it'sLenny.

I'm sorta down for anything regarding Kiss being that I'm a fan and i've worked with his project manager. I'm just tired of the BS. He wassupposed to show up two weeks ago for a listening session in the office and he aint show up.

Then i send a email about the lounge idea...no response except that I shouldnt have CC'd the SVP of mkting...whom i've PERSONALLY talked to andEXCHANGED business cards with....but no one knew i talked to dude on that level.

then i hear the news.

I'm disappointed from a fan perspective cuz they already got all the flyers and street team %%% printed up with the 10th as the date.

what dept were you in? I'm in mkting, radio promo and publicity. trying to round it out and network before i bow out. I'm a lil jaded and think that mycompany will be the best route for the future..i couldnt work there. Not to talk bad about it, but I feel like the creative spark is gone. Hov said it in VIBEand Rolling Stone interviews...my homegirl who was there told me...i had to see it for myself...but i love the music too much.

i always use the analogy that it's like a child who's sick who used to be in prime health...like you know it coulda been better and would do anythingin your power to see it well but you just cant....
