I wish I could find some grapes for 190. I plan on copping mine next week and it's gonna cost me at least 300. They will be the 6th AJ I brought this yearand the only new one was the ATCQ's and I only got them becase they were $70. The way it's looking I won't cop a new release at lease untilApril-May. If the 2K9 were to follow any other shoe beside the XX3 (and XI) I think it would of did better. Can't wait for 2010.

if JB improved in quality prices will probably go up regradless of how much the retros cost in 99-00, and yet ppl will still complain

Let's say MJ decided to release these upcoming retros with a 'NIKE AIR' on the back of the shoe rather than the Jumpman Logo, would you guys thinkthat Nike will get a share of the profit JB makes when the kicks drop? This question has been bugging me all day. On the other note, I'd buy the 2k9'sif they're on sale.

i hope JB listens to this, i would much rather take my $190 and pick up some retro's. plus the marketing is horrible, its nice to see another legendarycommercial, but 2 of the 4 athletes have there own sig within the company. they should have pushed some younger talent along with joe johnston and rip. i knowkevin martin is on a losing team but he should have made an appearance. Why the hell wasnt ray ray in the commercial? he's coming off of a championship!!!!You see post after post from buyers who are savvy enough to know the markdown schedules of most retail chains. But the most important thing i'm seeing ispeople want to buy the shoe just not at this price point. JB make the shoes to the $125 price point and rebuild the status of the JB 2k series. all we need isthe shoe!! we dont want an experience of a origami box, a shoe brush, a towel or anything else. just keep it at that. the experience is the shoes!!! but itseems lately that the focus is not on the shoes but everything else.
P.S. the economy will bring "NIKE AIR" back on some retroes. even retros are hurting.

The cheapness of the CDP's, the lack of quality in other retro's, not having Nike Air on the back, and lack of OG colors, ruined all Jordan's forme.
I will still look for a few SELECT retro's from the past (and future releases), but I could actually care less anymore.

Yea im happy to have a numbered Jordan model. I dont consider the 2k9's the XXIV's they are just a team Jordan to me.

Just went to Finishline here in the 405 and they still have a full size run of all the 2k9's. Sad day indeed. What a drop off in quality, expectations,and design.

I agree...the XX3 is the LAST Air Jordan...period.
