It's not even that...it's the fact that he is gettin paid to wear the reeboks and he refuses or maybe he isn't getting paid, whats thebig deal about wearing some reeboks for a couple hours, he's a grown %#* man not a child he should of handled the situation better but instead he gothimself tasered

I don't really have to clarify my post but i will because if you haven't worked at a label you wouldn't understand. Artists are children we clothfeed shelter and support the artist, they are told everything they have to do and have no say. So like grandma she calls the shots not you the child. So yourebel the only way you can, by not wearing them with your favorite or choice outfit you MIGHT wear it around her but thats strictly dependent on how polite youare feeling that day.

so when you get cut checks for parenting a grown adult then come back and attempt to put a vice grip on my opinion.

I'm happy dude stood up for himself, shows he's an autonomous individual that will not conform for dollars. put that in your comparison juice boxand...

Media especially the press that follows music artist always flip stories around. The story doesn't add up...something more had to happen but at leasthe's well.

If thats the case, why even sign a Reebok contract in the first place? Man your whole argument is flawed

EVERY LABEL IS THE SAME. this whole post is speculation. I post MY opinion as a member of the board and have every right to "open my mouth" and saywhat I feel pertinent to the post you can easily click ignore from now on if my comment twist your nipples in anyway.

as far as 'him signing a contract' he was obligated from the jump when he initially signed with the label to attend every and all events scheduledevents by his label. He cannot pick and choose which events he will and wont go to. All he can do is protest, as he did.

so in idiot slang: when he signed to the label he signed to any and all events they schedule/scheduled for him. ie like a parent to a child, only contractually

so those claiming my argument is flawed should refer to my previous posts and view the entire body of work and it will make a lot more sense to those that feltthat way. Or maybe not. so I guess you will be ignoring me from now on which is great for me. carry on...

^^ Now you had a point? Seemed more like an all out blitz on me for hear say. Yet and still you choose to be childish over my concrete learned from experienceperspective as 'whatever.' amazing how your emphatic speculation on the topic has been extinguished with a few blurbs.

1. i now see the shoes he had to wear..but if those were some type of designer shoes i dont think he would of had a problem with it..just my 2 cents
2. if ur gonna blog about the incident and go on and on...why not explain what really happened then?

they booked cudi himself..idk it had anything to do with good music..i think if someone calls to book a certain individual act for a show...u havethe option to accept or decline

conform for dollars? this is not like standing up to "the man"..not over a pair of shoes..which are prolly made in a developing countryfor way less than what their sold for anyway...

If your going to quote me at least be sure what your talking about. First point being a new 1st time signee with a major, when it comes to a corporately bookedevent like reebok it goes through his representation ie his record label. They don't deal with the artist themselves because they get a better rate andpossible future dealings/events dealing with people they've already networked with over the years. Its unheard of for the old business model to all of asudden 'change/switch it up' just for 'kid cudi' who is only now enjoying a buzz that has erupted over the past 2 years (see 2/07). So x thatout of "they booked it through him". lol

Second random misquotation of mine, your comparing apples to prune juice and losing the entire point of my initial comment. Go get 'regular' then feelfree to comment.

and to the other dude that responded. your just being silly now. re-read what i wrote and stop losing sight of my initial comments, you confusing yourself forno apparent reason than to skirt around the fact you and many, if not all of the comments in this post are speculatory.
