What's the difference between the OG and retro IX's? Pics?

looking to buy air jordan ix og white/black to complete all of my OGs collection. Just wonder if anyone here on niketalk has any detail picture of these OGsand pictures of the 2001 retro and the most current retro from CDP. I truly believe in quality over quantity. But i have been looking for these for so long.Over 3 years. I am so tempting to just buy one of the retros so i can just move on and retire from the sneaker. Please give me you opinion. Thanks. Andplease...i do not need any negative remarks ..i am an og collector. I have been collecting since 1989. I have on niketalk for a very very long time. I havejust changed my sreen name because i gave up the sneaker game about 1 year ago. Now i'm back and trying to look for my missing piece of the puzzle. Let mehear you opinion

well buddy there mostly all the same except i thing OGs have little differences like the hight and toe box design
 
i own none of these, so I am going off memory so forgive me if I am mistaken.

I believe there is a difference with some of they eyelets. I wanna say the bottom ones, on the retros above they are smaller than the other eyelets, on eitherthe OG or CDP that is not the case (I forget).

And I think the black material is different on them, more or less sparkles depending on the version.


Those are the things I *think* i remember hearing when the CDPs came out

Wait for the OGs.

The Retros don't have the correct eyelets at the bottom of the lacing system and the midsole is just painted.

The leather quality on the 2002 version also isn't up to much. Doubt it's any better on the 2008 version.

94 version may not have great leather either, odds are it's better than what came afterwards.

I been wearing J's since 1988 and Till this very day I dunno why people say...."Sneaker Game".. Wat Da EFF does that mean??? Points per shoeavg??
