Late Night with Conan O'Brien Appreciation Post Vol. 9/13/93 - 2/21/09

This show was a disappointment, but I guess that was kind of expected.

I wanted Pimpbot.

Year 2000.

And I HATE Andy Richter.

Damn Conan choked up for a bit but he held it together and kept it classy. A true G for doing that. And I feel he'll keep his word and not tone it down forthe elderly 11:30 crowd

I'm kicking myself so much right now because for the past 7 years me and my friends said we would go to his show now it won't be there.

Can't wait to see him on the 11:30 spot.

I didn't really get sad until the very end, seeing Conan get choked up got me as well.

He's not going away, he'll still be with us, but it is just going to feel different.

Conan's given me some of my best laughs and television memories and it's tough to see him leave his show that did it all.

Best of luck to him on the Tonight Show, I'll watch every night.

Since my brother put me on to Conan back in the mid 90s, I have always been a fan. I can honestly say this dude's sense of humor helped shape mine.

Thank God he's only moving to a new time slot and not leaving t.v. for good. I think going to one of his shows will be something I have to do before Idie.

That was very sad - not sure why either, he's not really going anywhere to the TV audience, and i'll actually really get to see him more in thisearlier time slot which is good. just always sad to see classics you grew up with making big changes, moving on and such.

I still think Craig Kilborn could've given Conan a good run had he stuck around a bit longer - i really had a hard time deciding between the two showstowards the end of Craiggers run before he quit the biz altogether. Still not sure why he got out the way he did.

Yeah, for some reason that got to me as well. He really started to get emotional when he brought up Letterman.

I have watched his show for the last 2 years but never laughed... but still I liked it.

I can't see him doing the tonight show because its so much more mainstream.

When does he start?

There is no way you can say this show was disappointing.

This show is so popular and they knew about the last show well enough in advance that they could have planned a big 2 hour farwell spectacle with big namedguests and musical acts. The fact that they didn't go that route just proves that the show stays true for what it is. The highlight of the hour was thefarwell speech - which was very sincere and well executed. In the end the show went out as it came in - humble and simple.

Conan's the man........first time I've seen the old time baseball sketch.....i haven't laughed so hard.

when dude broke out the 1864 baseball, i lost it. i watched it like 3 times on my tivo. that was probably my favorite of all time skit. i can honsetly say iwatched about 90% of the clips he put together for the last show. i been a fan since the 90s, when nobody heard of him.

i got a lil emotional when he said goodbye, but it's onto bigger n better for him. can't wait to see him on the tonight show

Here we go guys! It's 12:53am on the West Coast and I almost cried during the Abe Vigoda skit...
