The mixtape is pretty straight
But I was in the club and the DJ was playing "Aint I" and just kept stopping the record talking bout "black boy swag, white boy tag"
That just made it uber lame in my book

Same way I felt. I was actually disappointed because I've SEEN Dro out and about around town, and he actually commented on my Yays at Spondivits once with"I SEE YOU OUT HERE WIT THEM BUFFALO YAYS BWOOOOIIIIIIII!"

Funniest day ever. But he was wearing a pair of wood grains then, and I thoughtFOR SURE there would have been a few pair in the vid... Dah well.

But if y'all never heard Leland Austin (L.A.) story.. He was pretty much a bum slangin' in the hood before Dro ran across him..

That's why the "Ain't I" video is so crispitiy, crackety, ****ery on Yung LA's part..
 
At my school we say

Black boy looks, White boy books (stocks, accounts, property, etc.) ya dig. Thats the %**% we on. Just a parody though. It's all fun and games.

My big homie Rich sat Young Ralph and J. Money (2 Atlanta artists) down today, as they had some differences.

He is gonna sit Yung LA and J. Money down tomorrow.

He said he is gonna set up a photoshoot at Prestigious and buy a big billboard in front of 4 Seasons in Zone 3 for $300 a month with their picture together...LOL
 
It's almost like sampling.

Taking something and applying your own style and interpretation to make it something completely different.

Its all love cuz we know why Detroit culture is down there like that, not to mention T.I, Dro, Gucci, Jeezy, etc have allpaid homage they come thru on the radio stations, do songs with local Detroit artists (T.I just said K-Deezy might be on Grand Hustle in the near future, RayRay already on) and all that...

But Im sayin tho, they just start rocking Buffy's tho

...recordlabels only let you sell negative images to the youth when it comes from fraudulent Rick Ross/Wayne-type perspective, rarely from somebody who actually livedit, and never out the midwest...
