Sorry for thread digging, but after striking out on a second pair of Diamond Dunk Highs, I went ahead and got something I'd been after for a while

These are so unbelievably comfortable, why aren't the GR trainers that come out now like this. I think I may have to find the other color ways that came out too.
 
anybody know what style these were or any info? i had them in around 89/90 i think. coulda been 88.

I recently purchased a pair of Air Trainer  1s in the white cool grey cmnt grey black color  (looks like infrared to me). im guessing these shoes recenty retro-ed but im not entirely sure. I purchased them on ebay for a pretty decent price (knowing the retail is $120 and I payed $100). I received them just in time for my birthday (march 22nd) and after taking a closer look i am not too satisfied with the overall quality of the shoe's construction; to the point where i have doubts of the legitimacy of the pair. 

Would anyone be able to tell me if these are in fact legitimate or if they are fakes?
 
i understand that these may have been used then refurbished which i dont mind but i also think these may be fake due to the lack of quality i may be wrong though

can anyone assure me that these are in fact legitimate ?
 
They are Nikes made in 2013; I'm sure the quality is atrocious.

They are new - this color has never been released before.

I would not worry about the legitimacy.

The $100 price tag is about right, provided they were actually new. Pairs routinely sell below retail; I've seen pairs sell anywhere between $70 and retail.

What's wrong with the quality on them? The infrared Trainers are actually one of the better Trainer 1 releases from recent years. Kind of mad I missed them on deep discount when my local shop had them late last year.

Copped my first pair of Air Trainers; the recent "infrared" release. Honestly was not completely impressed with the overall quality of the sneaker. (size 12)

for my next shoes I would like to cop a pair of any of the new air max 90 releases such as the new am90 ice's or the new am 90 lunars. (size 12)

also, i know this would probably never happen but my dream shoe at the moment is probably the air trainer 3 in grey red and black (size 12)

finished and back on track, so comfortable tongue!

Lowering SCII adds less than 0.5 size, & a lil' room to the shoe.

just what i needed on these 11.5 (unused/high are 12)

also "allblack" was a great colorway, have not seen that much around there
 
Good stuff man. I saw your post in the other trainer thread in retro. I buy maybe one pair a year now. A real steady decline over the years. I have had a bunch of near impulse buys, like the latest trainer max 91 grey yellows, those air trainer 1 low st chlorophyll safari prints and the emerald trainer huaraches. Even those horse racing bo AT IIIs peaked my interest for a day or two.

I think my last pickups were the revis trainers last yr, auburn sc high vntg ogs last yr, at1 infrared (I love the mesh and felt like faux suede they used. The shoe is ultra soft.. I saw some comments about those here a few pages back. I totally disagree.), the 2012 at1 chlorophylls are a heavy rotational pair, and the sc II OGs from a couple years back... I still have two wearable 2000 chlorophylls. All of my atIIIs are done for... I told myself that after all of my 2000 era trainers are "gone", I just wouldnt really look like a trainer fan anymore. Although the sc IIs, Sc auburn VNTG, and 12' chlorophylls are keeping me at a good level right now.

Those superbowls stirred me. I picked up the safari/chloro on impulse too. Half a size too big. Still need sz11 medicine balls....
