when one album CLEARLY laid out the blueprint for the other the answer is pretty clear....

I love Capital Punishment and Pun definitely was something special but this isn't a contest.

So you guys think lyrically Biggie was better than Pun? Forget album formats and blueprints and all that other stuff.

I just feel like you can't go wrong with either album...

Plus, I'm not into the whole album a > album b. Or vice versa.

Just enjoy them both cause they're both good albums.

I would pick RTD by a large margin. And don't get me wrong, I loved Pun, but I have to go with Big here.

It should get as much love as any other classic album but are you saying that you don't like Capital Punishment?

These 2 albums are great and I listen to them on the regular. As to say which album is better, I give the slight advantage to Pun because of his lyricalabilities and I'm a big fan of both. Big was just as raw on the mic as Pun was. Imagine if these two would have got on a track together

I still wish they both were alive. R.I.P to both Legends!
