I just don't understand how he can say both of BIGs joints is better than both of Pun's then say BIG never had nothing that make him go back and rewind. . . Does that make sense to you??

yes it does...... pun's lyricism is just top notch

His delivery was versatile .... the way it switched up on a beat and what he was saying was just
Big has verses but nothing that will make you go

I'm going to be honest and unbiased... when it comes to lps Big wins hands down
but if we go Verse by Verse I'm gonna give it to Pun just about 85% of the time.
when it came to that smooth, cool %+%+, you can argue that noone did it better than Biggie. The thing about Biggie is that he while he was great at someaspects (flow, putting songs together, his ear for beats) he was good at everything, its his total package that makes him argueably the best to ever to do it.however because he was good at everything his fans tend to overrate some of the atributes of his game.
to say Biggie was a better lyricist than Pun is disrespectful to both men imo, because you are more than likely taking this stance because of his name and nothis skill which does the game a disservice, and the same could be said in reverse concerning songs. What most fail to separate is that you can say "atristA" was better than "artist B" at something and still believe that "artist B" is better overall. Thats the problem with hiphop fansimho we allow our favoritism to prevent us from acknowledging that another artist may be better at something. It has to be all or nothing, and coincidentallyyou usually only see this when it comes to Big or Jay, which leads to people taking shots at them and disrespecting their status.

As I said before, B.I.G. is BETTER than Pun in ALL aspects of MCing . . . I don't get where you guys are saying "puns lyrcism" *%$*, maybe hisvocabulary was a lil better, but I wouldnt say that he and B.I.G. are too far away in that either . . .

those 2 are the biggest names in hip hop, him being alive would have made more of a difference to the hip hop scene than biggie (IMO)
also, Biggie has been reproduced, through Jay, through Jada, and through plenty others but none have kept it as lyrically impressive(with dark humor) as pun
he still had underground appeal (check the featuring spots he had on his platinum album)
Eminem paved his way through the underground and left it as soon as he could, even leaving Royce to dry.
Pun was still working with street cats, still freestyling, and still in the clubs putting guns to Djs.

Come on son, I don't even feel this is worthy of a response. Are you really that ignorant ? Pun has influenced thousands of MC's... underground andmainstream. You say being the first latino rapper to go plat and be nominated for a grammy is doing "nothing" for hispanics ?
One example is the group Outerspace (Planetary + Warchild) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outerspace . Punwas a huge influence for them as latino rappers and now they are one of the greatest duo's in hip hop history.....
