I will never forget the day while I was in college about 5 years ago... Walked into a vintage clothing/co-signment/thrift store type of shop. Sitting on theshelves was a VNDS pair of OG black/red XI's with original laces and everything. $15. I could not believe it. I had the face that children often have whenthey see Santa Claus at the mall. I immediately took them to basketball practice and showed everyone. What a day!

honestly I don't think I would have done what you did...nevertheless good story.

...I got my first pair of XI's in Dec. from the CDP...first and hopefully the last time I had posted up early for some shoes.

When we were lined up, security opens up the wrong door so of course everyone SPRINTS to the store and dudes had snuck through the employee entrance so therewas only 10 pairs left and 18 people in front of me. They had cats playin rock paper scissors over the shoes, just cuz they think its funny to be douches tous. When I get a job at a sneaker store, you better believe Ill be lookin out for all the real heads.

If you work at a Nike outlet, you get access to swoosh too right?

back in the day, the concords released retro in 99, i hadn't bought any jordans since the og white/black 13's, i went to finishline and asked if theyhad any nice jordans, the manager said man you missed them, they sold out fast. I said man sz 10.5-11 you dont have anything, he said well, i have a guythat is supposed to give me $125 for a 10.5 but he hasnt showed up, i said man i got $125 cash, I had never ever saw them before, he took me out to his carand popped his trunk, there sat a brand new pair of the concords, icy and perfect in my size, never seen by my eyes they looked amazing! I paid him like atheif in the night, I wore them 10-15 times indoors and then a friend paid me $225.00, they were still like new. he sold them back to me for $40 last yearand i got $180 on ebay. $45-50 per pair, he sold me the cool grey's, the space jams, the true blue 3's, the og 13's i mentioned, the og taxixii's. the white/red xii's, the lowtop xi's blue and red. Not a bad days work. If not for his basement being musty i would have kept them.

I got my girl and myself a pair of spacejams from this shoe store in daly city.. i forget where.. walked in and out t'was easy....

I went on a mission for the columbia's.. ended up getting them at lohman's plaza in sac on RD and my girl's pair at arden on the way home.

I was at the infamous florin mall fiasco when the CG xi's dropped. I was there in front of sheiks when we busted the door off the hinges. The girl whoworked there started crying and said, "THEY'RE JUST SHOES!!! +#!!!!?!?" and they didn't sell them till the next day or something. Anyway. Iwent home empty handed but luckily my boy had an extra pair size 9 which he sold me for for 125 even.

I rocked them hard but kept them in decent shape. I eventually grew out of them and stashed them away. I ended up trading some NT for my used CG's for someBMPs in the proper sizes. Thanks to whoever you were, hope you Seq-glo'ed em and are doing you well!!

My boy and I camped for our DMPs he wore 10.5 i wore 9.5/10. I ended up getting in line before him and copped his pair of 10.5 since they didn't have mine.i think he ended up getting a 8.5 since it was the only size left. Some dude offered me 500 for the 10.5 but I just gave my boy my pair and he bought me mysize at a resellers price. he sold the 8.5 for the same price and we were all happy.

Interesting topic. I got my 2001 black/red XIs a couple years ago in VNDS condition for $85shipped! Got them off right here on NT.

I was desperately trying to get rid of my CDP XVII. Eventually, I traded them for my first pair of XI's, which are Concords.

My cdp xi story goes like this. I call finish line the night before to confirm they have the sizes, got confirmation. Get there the next morning beforeanybody, I'm first in line. Associate gets there and tells the sizes are gone, and they can't be found??????? I'm like WHAT????? they can't because I was the first person here. So I run down to champs while on the phone with fnl customer service and they are sold out, so they call another champsacross town and they have a 11.5 left but I needed a 12. All this is going on while it's a blizzard outside. I head accross town so I can secure somethingand maybe trade or sell while still on the phone with fnl cust. service and I explain the situation and they tell me that they need to find the shoes and sellthem to me. So I cop at champs and head back to fnl (blizzard getting worse) cause cust. service called me back and said the associate found the shoes and tosell them to me!!!! So I return the champs pair and cop the fnl pair. So when I saw the associate in the store she said her manager told her to hold the shoesand she was sorry for lying. So I got her number and slayed her that night with one xi on foot and a xii on the other and told her don't lie about shoesanymore!!!! Til this day I refuse to cop anything from finishline anymore.

my big brother (rip) had the space jam xis
i thought they were given to my cousin but i found them in a box in the attic
i started crying when i saw them and i was happy to see them
size 12 so i will be rocking them even thoug there beat and piss yellow

That's kinda cool, I guess they mean more than the average pair because it belonged to your bro. Sorry to hear about that man

I got 2 packs on eastbay, the site was down and the phones were deadlocked 30 min before they released, i somehow got through online but my cart showed 4packs, with many windows open trying to get through, i clicked submit but it didnt go through or so it seemed, after a while i got confirmation on 8 packs11/12 size 11 and they charged my credit card over $2400.00, only $1900 in my account. they finaly got it strait when i called customer service and was ableto hold my 2 packs, they put the other 6 packs back up when i was done which was at like 3 am several hours after they sold out. 6 other people must havebeen real happy to see that!
