. I don't have any AJ XI stories. Had the OG and retro breds (ittook about 7 hours to find the retro's in my size). Been looking for ds columbia's, spacejams, and cool grey's for about 3+ years now and can'tseem to find them in a 12

I started working at Champ's somewhere between the SpaceJam and Cool Grey release. Needless to say I got my Cool Grey's no problem. One of theassistant managers' had like 4 sz.11 Space Jam's on lay-aways (back in the day when we had lay-away), he didn't have enough to take them all offlay-away, I was able to get mine, luckily he was my size. I bought my Columbia's (2 pair, sz 10.5, sz.11)from the same spot months before, rocked the he//out of my 10.5's kept my sz. 11's on ice, had to sell them last year for 2 bill's, I was dead broke. The good's and the bad's of owning apair of classic's. I need a pair of each now, 10.5 or 11, hollar at me.

Niiiice. That's the kind of story I'm talking about

Ok, I searched for about a year for a pair of concords online, not really going hard for them. I was in the library at school one day on a break from classesand I was looking at sites, and lo and behold what do I find? I pair of concord XI's in sz. 11 on sneakerpimp.com. They were $190 which was high, but stillnot bad at the time (2002). I ordered them without even thinking twice because I didn't want anyone to scoop them up. I looked at the dude's info onthe site and he had his aim name on there. When I got home I IM'd him asking him if I could pick up the shoes because he also lived in Brooklyn ( I was toocheap to pay shipping, lol). He agreed that I could come and get the shoes. The next week I come to pick them up, I knock on the door of the address he gaveme, and no one was home. I was tight, I thought I had been scammed for my money

. I regularly visited the site, so I was sure the person was legit, but this created a lot of doubt. I got home that night IM'd the guy and toldhim what time I came by. He said he was sorry and to come by the next day. I get there the next day, and he opened the door. Surprisingly, he was a high schoolkid, lol. He explained that he had just gone to baseball practice and I had missed him. He then hands me a box with the best pair of kicks made imo. Needlessto say, when I rode the train home, I guarded the box like it had gold in it. I finally reflected on the whole situation when I got them home safely, it waspretty damn cool.....

The second easiest cop for me....My mom really needed some help with a research paper for her class. She bugged me to write her 5 page paper for her and wemade a deal. I was eyballing a pair of retro colombia blue XI's on ISS. I admit, it wasn't my favorite color out of all of them at first, I watchedthis shoe on this site for an entire year. I watched the price of the shoe go from $99 to $109 to $129 to $149 to $159. I finally said enough, I should getthese before the price skyrockets. Anyway, the deal was, if I type the paper for her, she would get me the shoes. Three days later her paper was done and Igot my pair. It was very easy, no work involved, lol. I was shocked she agreed to it. I was even more shocked this shoe was on sale on this site for $99 for anentire calendar year and no one bought them.............

Not really a story at all, just a nice gesture from niketown for their employees at the time....Since it was nearly a christmas release, the store decided todo something very nice for the entire staff at the store (they haven't done anything like this since then). A couple of weeks before the RD, they sent alist to everyone in the store who were interested in a pair of blk/red (NOT BRED, plz) AJ XI. You wrote your name and shoe size on the paper and theyguaranteed you a pair. All you had to do was pick them up no later than 12pm the Sunday after the RD. I copped my pair for $75, then a month later a persongave me their stashed pair. It was the best thing niketown ever did for their employees inside the store, but we had so much of them we could have copped 2xwith no hassle. Unfortunately, I sold that pair about 2 years ago, it was DS and went for $450, I want them back now

I said man sz 10.5-11 you dont have anything, he said well, i have a guy that is supposed to give me $125 for a 10.5 but he hasnt showed up, i said man i got $125 cash, I had never ever saw them before, he took me out to his car and popped his trunk, there sat a brand new pair of the concords, icy and perfect in my size, never seen by my eyes they looked amazing! I paid him like a theif in the night, I wore them 10-15 times indoors and then a friend paid me $225.00, they were still like new. he sold them back to me for $40 last year and i got $180 on ebay. $45-50 per pair, he sold me the cool grey's, the space jams, the true blue 3's, the og 13's i mentioned, the og taxi xii's. the white/red xii's, the lowtop xi's blue and red. Not a bad days work. If not for his basement being musty i would have kept them.

I bought an incredibly beat pair of Space Jams on eBay that I'm looking to restore (hit me up if you have a cheap donor pair of 9.5 ies). Not a very goodstory, but I guess it just shows you how much people like XI's.

i remember they had a pair or XI citrus low in womens size 14 and i wanted them so bad but didnt have the money that day, so i asked the store manager if theycould hold them until the next day. he said yeah no problem. so the next day i go there with the cash and one of the workers there had sold them... smh.. theonly XI that is left on my list. so if anybody has the citrus low in size 14, get back to me!

I still remember the day i got my cool grey's. i was in 8th grade. i had a basketball game the same day. i wore them for the first half of the firstquarter, and had my coach call a time-out because i kept getting burned due to trying to not crease them.

bought 3 pairs of blk/red's at Warehouse Shoe Sale.... kept 1, gave one away, and returned the third pair.... yep!

some girl gave me some brand new columbia 11's back in 2001. They didn't fit her so she gave em to me. Well back then i didn't like the 11's(iman idiot) so i decided to give them away to some kid. I regret that to this day....damnn

gothome laced em loose, and cause i fel instantly in love wit hthe gr8st shoe ever made i pu tthem on top of the tv so i could see them all night as i watched thegame, corny maybe, but i dont give a damn. well for any that might remember the bulls got upset that night, but if nothing else i was wakin up the next morningto the SHOE THAT ENDED THE SHOE GAME. jordan corps 4 life !

i also remember walkin in to dixks sporting goods when it was a fairly new store in syracuse ny wherei grew up and they used to have shoes on the floor u couldtry yourself with no help form an employee, kinda like a sale section, well i remember goin there for the burgendy/white vi's cause i was passionatw aboutthem, they had my number when i got there, i got em for 79.99 also, but what i left there, cause i wasnt thinkin at all was at least 8 pair of the black/redvi's, also 79.99 FSR

gone are them days forever, dammit !

WITHOUT AIR ..............THERE IS NO LIFE

In 1995, I was 14 and I saw these weird looking shoes and noticed it was the new Air Jordans(Concords). I thought it was just weird looking. I went home thatday and saw the infamous Xi Commercial and I had to say... seeing jordan rocking them made them look 10 times better (no %#!+). I went back the next day withmy buddies and relized that they had sold out. What was more upsetting was that if I picked them up when I saw them, it would of been the last pair and thelast size. It was the released date and they had sold everywhere at that point. So going on for 5 years, I always regret that moment where I could of picked upthe concords.... And then the retroes!!! I was like...is this true? It felt like I had a second chance.... but this time, I was prepared. I was a little olderand working for a internet company streaming video clips...so I had money and bought everything and anything jordan XI....here are my babies....

Now that the space jams are retroing...I feel like it hasnt' been 9 years since I went crazy....but I feel that it might happen again... we'll see...

Senior year in HS, got my OG concords at the now out of business Koenig's stores... I got grief that they looked like "dress shoes" but I lovedthem! Wish I would have held on to them but back in HS I wasn't collecting, I was just wearing my BBall shoes!

I bought my space jam's after RD for around $160 and ended up selling them to my cousin for $350

wow all these people with 11s i never had any...IMO they are the best looking shoe(but I love 13s) Copping the Space Jams though got to .

I had just got my pair of Atlantic Blue Penny II's. My best friend showed up in a pair of blk/red XI mids. (MY JAW DROPPED TO THE FLOOR) From that day on Iknew one day I would own that pair of shoes. Well about 10 years later I FINALLY got myself a pair of the '01 Retro from another NT'er. Those have beenand prob always will be my fave pair of shoes. They are in fact my Holy Grail of kicks.
