"You're single? How come?" Vol. Status Update

Im 17, but I aint trying to be in a relationship. I never held on to a girl for long, because I got stuff to do. I work, I have homework, I wanna kick it withmy firends, and I wanna be alone every once in a while, and girls be demanding all your time and all that, so I usually end up like "F it" lol

Ive never had a girlfriend. Girls tend to put me in the friend zone a lot. They say I'm to nice. I'm a prime example of nice guy finishing last.

I'm just real picky and not one to force it.
I'm content being single for now, not saying I wouldn't want a relationship though
 
I was in a relationship I didn't want to be in up until a month ago and since then I reflected back on it and realized I made a lot of mistakes. On oneside it was a waste of my time, money and effort but the lessons I learned were worth it. If I ended it in June for good like I should've probably,who's to say my life would be different for the better? Right now, I'm doing what I want to do and you certainly can't do that in a relationship. Idon't miss the constant texting, the talking about nothing for hours on the phone and spending money so right now I'm doing me and revamping my rosterand hopefully building a solid starting five rotation for the spring.

I'm extremely picky when it comes to girls I'd consider having any type of commitment with. So I'll date occasionally when I think a prospect mightbe worth it. But with my luck I'll prob be 30 by the time I find anything worthwhile. My godmother/aunt gives me @*## every time I call her whether I havea g/f and when I tell her no she says something is wrong with me. I tell her "it's easy to waste money on some dumb broad, when I don't make allthat much as it is." Plus I'm in a private college, it doesn't take much effort to pull a girl for an occasional one-nighter here anyway. It getsme by for now.
 
Life is about moderation, you cant have too much of one thing or it starts to look bad. Being single for too long makes other think there is something wrong.

Why cant he/she hold a gf/bf?
Whats his/her history like?
Does he/she have mental issues?
Is he/she capable of keeping a relationship together?

Just like a resume, your relationship history plays a role in your relationship future.

Weekend Girl speaks TRUTH: why can't someone just be happy with themselves? Why they HAVE to be a baller and court some %%$ that will eventually break outbecause they're insecure?
From my understanding, people who don't have a problem with being single are content with themselves have a REAL and TRUE devotion to learning aboutthemselves. Dudes and chicks that find a NEED to be with someone realize they can't stand being by themselves. Their own image of being isolated freaksthem out.

Haters need to suck more of that +*%@ they're so happy sucking.

Wow, that makes a lot of sense. And this is coming from a guy who thinks he knows it all. I've always equated the whole relationship/ datingscene to Resume/ Work related matters, but this just takes it to another level.

that's my situation right now. Can't really say that I get tired of people quick, it just depends how the person is. One of my turn offsis someone who can't hold a conversation or has a one track mind. I can get bored easily and maybe not talk to you again. People say that I come off as amean person but I'm not, I just like to tell it how it is
