AIR JORDAN XVI SHROUD/COVER HELP (REPAIR INFO NEEDED)

I recently picked up a ds pair of black xvi's. the seller shipped them with one shroud still completely on the right shoe and the left shroud folded inhalf at the the bottom of the shoe box. So I put the folded shroud on the she and take them home from work.
As soon as I take them out the box when I get home, the rubber part of the shroud that runs under the bottom of the shoe completely broke off on both sides.

Is this repairable (i.e. gorilla glue) or should I just look for a new shroud?

I really don't want to return them since it's hard to find a ds pair my size, plus the shroud on the other pair is perfectly fine.

All help is appreciated.
 
Damn.... Thats terrible. I recently bought a pair of DS XVII white/college blue, brief case, CD, and lace covers for 200shipped, I got them and was so excitedabout the price that i over looked that the lace locks were missing. Its kinda of hard finding a pair of laces locks for the XVII, but i have found 2 peoplewith a pair for 15$ shipped.
Im sure that if u search you could find a pair of the shrouds for the XVIs... Check the miscellaneous forum, and check ISS they always have some random stuff.lol
 
you know what... when i first bought the xvi's....... it happened. here is my old pair of shrouds. what can i do?

what size are your shoes? i could sell you mine if its the right size for you...not DS though. but I never wore the shrouds on them. get at me...
 
Throw it away and wear them without the shrouds.
Otherwise, get a new pair with the shrouds.
 
I HAVE A DS PAIR BUT IM SCARED TO EVEN PUT TE SHROUD ON. I LIKE THEM BETTER WITH THE SHROUD ON. THEY LOOK OKAY WITHOUT IT BUT CMON.....
 
Dude, buy another pair of shrouds off someone who doesn't need them...If you dropped 180+ on em (which if you didn't you got a steal)...what'sanother 15-20 bucks for DS shrouds? Ebay would be another good place to look too
 
thers not much you can do,,i meen its rubber,, so even if u did find a way to fix it,,it would constantly tear because it runs to the sole of the shoe,,trychecking ebay once in a while,,i seen sum recently

If anyone has a pair of shrouds though for a size 13, you know what to do.
 
cant help you out here, but at least they can be worn without shrouds, it's worse with XIXs when the back clip breaks you cant really remove it...
