Is a web site selling crap like these advertised on the bottom of this site? I understand that advertising is one of the things that keeps this site moving, but if we're all against fake Jordan's, I don't see the sense inthis.
 
LOLOL. Wow. At least the price is about in line with how much the 2K9 should actually be.

It's not that I'm bothered by the ads. I just find it sad that a community I consider to be prestigious in the shoe game supports craplike that.
 
I've noticed that too. Those aren't even real pictures of the shoes on the site, they are photoshoped.
 
$60 for some 2K9's sounds like a good deal. Too bad the real thing isn't too far from costing that much.
 
NT doesn't control the ads. Google does. And since this is a sneaker forum, they put ads about sneakers even if they are fake or authentic.
 
Also, how are companies like that even able to continue to stay in business? It seems like Jordan Brand would have them shut down at the blink of an eye.

Thats exactly right, NT has no control whatsoever over the ads that google chooses to advertise

How you suppose to sue somebody that isn't even an American. You can't sue someone who lives in China in an US courthouse.

Why? So they can pop right back up on another site/place.
 
the stuff on that site is horrible. its a shame its advertised on here, but like home boy said NT doesnt control that, its google powered. we shouldnt worrybout ppl on here goin on there and copping. and if they do, then ya jus dumb and dunt read the threads lol
 
As others have mentioned, most of our ads are served by Google AdSense. It's their responsibility to screen their ads but, unfortunately, most large adnetworks seemingly prioritize automation and efficiency above all else.

What you can do is report the ads to Yuku by taking down the web address the ad points to, get a screen capture of the ad appearing on NT (hit the print screenkey, then paste into a graphics editing program and save the results), and send it to ads@yuku.com They'll work with Google to have the ad removed from ourrotation.

Please do not block the ads. Without them, we can't keep NikeTalk online OR continue to issue our charitable donations.
