Stupidity involving J's?

For instance, my friend a couple years back had some DMP XI's with the lettering on the eyelets right? And he took the letters off one day in class. Thisdude was a collector mind you, and he stood in line to get his DMP's. I was just like

at his ignorance. Even after I told him not to do it. I think hedid it cause some uneducated cats told him that they looked fake cause of the letters or something.
 
those letters aren't even real gold im not sure why they are worth so much more on ebay.. imo its ugly wit the letters and you gota worry about it bleeding

you should have just slapped him in the face,took a pic of him on the floor holding his face,posted it here and gave me something else to laugh about. yourfriend is just very stupid, sorry
 
i wouldn't say he's stupid. if his intentions are to sell them eventually, then yeah, he probably should have kept the letters on. since he clearlywants to wear them, it's up to him whether or not he wants them to have the letters or not. he might have done it for the wrong reason, but it's stillhis choice to make.

No offense taken. I mean, he did make a stupid move. And yes, he was the type to think of the value of shoes later on so even more

the letters are in fact ugly, but if it bothered him so much he sould of sold them on ebay, and bought a pack with no letters, and kept the extra cash...
 
some kid at my school 2 years back got into a fight in the cafeteria, and while it was being split up he took off his 5s (i have no idea why) to go chase thekid and as soon as he left the shoes alone another kid picked them up and took off .... he never got them back and left the school barefoot
 
I have the letters on mine they look weird I admit, but hey down the line worth more.
