I believe it says it on the bottle itself. I'm not sure exactly which one is which but one of them is specifically for cleaning another is for furniture, and I think there's a waterproofer

after 3 sessions, I got it a lot clearer, i'm only doing 1 session a day, i'm not sure I can get it back to it's release day look, the last picture was in the light after I washed off the saloncare 40

I use a "no wipe" tire cleaner by turtle wax, and it works great. Takes the ashiness away and lasts

hello im new to the sneaker community. i have a few pairs of ds js but i decided to buy some 13's that are not in great condition. i believe that the 13's i have are tumbled leather "correct me if im wrong" and it isb basically chipping off the front of the shoe from scratching. can this be restored ??

By chance does anyone know the exact name of the shoe cleaner (or the solution itself) that companies like Air Legends Jason Marks Etc use? I'm assuming they all use relatively the same solution

New member here. Just got my very first pair of js (gamma 11) and plan on getting more, I needed to know how to clean and storage them properly.
I plan on wearing all my js, I read the first post but the whole armour all thing is a little too much for me. I was planning to just scrub em with a toothbrush and soap if they got dirty. And as for storage, I'm gonna put a shoe rack in my closet and lay all my shoes on it, also gonna put a damp rid in the corner of my closet too.
Is what I'm doing fine? Or is there a flaw somewhere?
Also wanted to say I'm happy to be a part of this community and hope to stay for a long time, didn't know much about jordans but I saw someone with the gamma 11s and I immediately did my research. Now that I got these I'm tempted to add more to my collection.

If I were to guess, they ask have their own recipe. Not like foot locker shoe cleaner that is sold to everybody and branded differently

Make sure if you have any "ice" or clear soles to remove the paper from the box, it's know to have acid in it that promote discoloration. Get a proper sneaker cleaner, and avoid the toothbrush on the patent leather of the gamma XI, it will likely scratch it. Use an actual shoe cleaner and a towel or tag. I use either Jason markk or the aerosol spray can cleaner from foot locker or any other shoe store. Then I wipe it up with a cut up old white t shirt.

Thanks. I will purchase the Jason Markk shoe cleaner. I don't plan on putting my shoes back in the box so the paper issue won't affect me right? The box will be in the same closet though is that a problem?
No worries I wasn't gonna brush the leather lol I'm gonna be mainly cleaning the bottom and the edges from time to time, gonna try my best not to get the top dirty. Yea it does seem expensive I dropped 350 on the gammas, it's the most expensive shoe I've ever purchased in my life, crazy to think most of y'all here have like 5+ pairs.
Gamma soles don't yellow right cause of the blue tint? I'm on the fence right now on whether I should buy js with icy soles, I'm really feeling the black infrared 6s and the white cement 3s. The 3s don't got icy soles but the tab at the back yellows I've seen pics. I know there's no way to stop it but how can I slow it down? The damp rid helps right?

I'm not sure if damp rid helps or not to be honest. At my last house I had damp rid in the closet along with silica gel packs in the shoe box and they still yellowed. Happened to both my space jams and my cool greys. And even all my son's pairs. I'll post pictures later.
The gamma won't yellow. Glad you got em, you did over pay tho but that happens. You'll learn as you buy more n more pairs. And make sure to look out for fakes and scams of course. Never send a payment as PayPal gift.

DampRid helps... It doesn't prevent yellowing, but it does slow it down.
As for taking out the paper... The box is acidic too. That's why I use ziploc bags. You don't have to close it all the way. You just have to prevent contact between the shoes, and box.

Keeping them out of the box will only yellow them faster. All shoes should be kept in their box IMO it's more organized. 350 on gammas is a bit high though. And yes gammas WILL yellow even with the blue tint. The blue tint is supposed to help slow down yellowing, not stop it

Best way to store older retro kicks? Got some 2000 fire reds that still don't need a swap. Want to keep em that way. I wear them often. What's the best way to store them? I don't care if they yellow as long add there wearable. In thinking it would be better to leave em out n let em breathe

They will discolor slightly. They won't turn yellow tho

Man this is confusing.. it seems like everyones got their own opinion as to what causes yellowing and how to prevent it. Some say put em back in the box, some say box causes yellowing, some say put it in ziploc but some say it needs to breathe. Think I'ma just do it my way and see what happens, gonna simply put it in a dark and cool place, I can't see myself putting the shoes back in the box everytime or even ziploc-ing them, I don't wanna risk ripping the tissue paper or denting the box.
$350 is the going price here in Canada, US retail price was cheaper I believe.
Any other tips to a newbie in the sneaker game? I appreciate all the help guys.

My tip for you is, just wear your sneakers before they yellow. Its gonna yellow one way or the other.

So I Finally Decided To Take A Stab At Painting My Midsoles [emoji]128532[/emoji][emoji]128532[/emoji] The Acetone Melted The Shoe, & The OG White Was Very Hard To Strip

After This Disaster I Was Turned Off To Repainting & Just Painted Over The Original Paint & Cracks.
If Anyone Has Any Tips Or Tricks On Repainting As Far As Removing The Paint/Getting It Smooth Without Eating The Midsole I'd Love To Hear It! [emoji]128513[/emoji][emoji]128513[/emoji]
