i think those are nubucks, but no, they should be more durable than that. unfortunately that is JB-now quality for ya.

bubble = delamination. you can poke a pin hole to let the air out, but i don't think you would want to poke a hole in the patent leather.

@HdBkNIKE oh man...that sucks. are those the 2001 or CDP's? anyway, when i was gluing back the outsole of my 02 cool grey 9s I used packaging tape to pull them together and holds.I was told to use the blue painters tape instead. you should give it a try. just apply the glue, follow the instruction, and use the tape to hold them together (tape from the bottom up and pull and stick to the patent leather). good luck. I gotta do this to my OG bred xi as well.

OR use a lot of rubber bands.

Hey guys I was just wondering if you knew what angelus paint to use on the cracked midsole of my retro 8's?? It's a gunmetal grey the same as the bug bunny 8's but can't find the color of angelus paint anywhere in stores or online!!! Any help will be greatly appreiated. Thank you!

Which shoes can i use as midsole donors for Jordan 4's other then dub zeros? are Flight 89 compatible? anything else? Thanks

good method... but i would suggest using e6000 over barge cement.
ive used both, and each time ive used barge cement, there was separation again within a few wears. e6000 is much stronger

I just finished the OG XI sole, how long do you think the e6000 will hold? Thinking about whether to still wear them or not.

You were right btw, they are much better to use vs shoe goo. I notice they are from the same company tho. Lol

E6000 should hold for a long time, I don't think you'll need to worry again if you did it correctly.

Goo Gone will take the white paint off as well, that stuff is really strong. Ive used it to wipe off permanent marker so imagine what it would do to the leather.

What's the difference between Barge All-Purpose Cement and Infinity Barge Cement? are they both clear?

I'm not sure what the difference is, but I've always seen people use infinity barge cement. Look around on finish line/footlocker/champs under the clearance sections for discounted Jordan flights with 4 midsoles. Awhile ago I saw the Jordan flight high tops for 19.99 on finish line, they might still have them.

So for storing the main point is to take out the acidy paper in the box, store in a cool and dark place, and put some salt packets in the box. Anything else guys?

I use a DampRid canister in my room. A lot easier than putting silica packets in every now, and does the same thing.

I put my shoes in these hefty 2.5 gallon bags. The paper acidic, but so is the box. I don't zip the bags up. I just add a layer between the box/paper, and the shoes.
