Any advice on cleaning/ de-yellowing the tongue of Jordan 7 Cardinals?

The annoying silky material the tongue is made out of has turned yellow and I don't want to use anything that might make it worse. (I have ****** up a couple shoes that way)

I was thinking to run it through the laundry in a mesh bag with some Rit Whitener & Brightner?
Always good to provide pics. RIT should work, here's a tutorial on how to apply it. Don't worry it works on things other than mesh, this vid is just to show you how to apply it to your shoes.

Can somebody tell me how to fix the scuffs on the plastic parts thanks

Might want to consider these, not sure if it works for you cause it doesn't work for all scuffs/scratches. Careful, acetone can be very harmful. Not 100% sure it'll work for you or won't damage your shoe.

for PL people have used armor all, or you can use vaseline and buff it in. for regular leather i would get leather milk and that helps soften it up but not make it shiny lol so i dont know about making leather shiny

djaygotsole djaygotsole I have the same discoloration on my IVs. I've tried magic eraser, oxyclean and a toothbrush. I finally gave up and live with it. Would like to know how to fix that as well.

For patent leather I've never used any thing besides a damp cloth to get the shine back. Buff with a dry cloth after cleaning with a damp cloth.

I have no idea. I was able to cop from a store in Feb of this year and thought it was related to the way they were stored in the warehouse or something. Its def a defect imo, because my raggedy CDP isn't like that.

The only time I really notice it is outdoors on a sunny day. Hard to capture in a picture too. My OCD conks me in the head every now and then and I want to do something about it that doesn't involve paint.

retrobrite was made for discolored plastics but doing it on those might ruin the shoe more than help it, id say just try to not let it bother you and if thats not the case then id say sell em

But if that's it (what I was thinking also) I don't get it, my Vs are stored in the same place and are practically still "icy"
That is strange, maybe your IVs have been worn more or exposed more than your Vs, I'm just speculating.  I guess in the future (if you are able to remove it or if you get another pair), you could use the armor all method on the wing tips if it bothers you that much.

Wore my black/silver lows yesterday and this happened... anyone know somebody who does sole swaps or have any advise on how to it myself? my boy said he'd give me his black varsity reds to swap. I think that would look dope. any ideas or suggestions?

Can anyone recommend the best product I should purchase to get these back to their original color lol. I tried soap and water with a brush but it only takes a little off. Doesn't work on the top.

These are the air max 90s prm tape. Thanks in advance guys. Don't really know what to use I'm an amateur when it comes to this stuff

Probably oxidation

It's a manufacturing defect. When I copped mine in Feb I had them bring me 4 different pairs and they all the same the same discoloration.

Yeah, it's not worth it to retrobrite. I'd sooner repaint the tabs than go thru retrobriting methods.
