I am going to do a full restore and I have questions dealing with the leather. I want to recondition and protect it to make it as it was in '85. I have read Angelus Lustre Cream is the way to go. Is there any other method to restore the leather from that 'dry, cracked' like state?

I am sure it is possible, but it would be more work than its worth. You would never be able to stitch the midsole back right.
Try using acetone/nail polish remover on a qtip.
So I'm currently customizing a pair of Jordan 4s, and I am dying the nubuck on them when somehow the dye seeped through the tape and got to the sole. Is there any way to fix this?

It gets like that because of the plastic heating up and getting soft, then it bends. If you wear them it would probably straighten out. You could try heating up the plastic and reshaping it, but you could possibly hurt the shoe. I would just leave them alone because theats normal.
