Yea, soapy water would be fine on the lace loops. Water can damage suede, but you could probably clean them lightly and it wouldn't hurt anything
 
I'm going to use a tooth brush to clean the lace loops. Is clothing detergent okay or is hand soap good enough? Gonna have to be really careful.

Should I even bother to cop the suede cleaner if I just want to sell them? really wanted to get rid of em this week.
 
If you want to do them the right way, then you should buy the cleaner. You can take like 1 cup of water and a little bit of laundry detergent and it work work fine. Use the bubbles to clean the suede so it doesn't get too wet. Also, dont dry jt with a normal towel because it will get lint on the suede, use an old cotton T-shirt.

so youre saying if i dont want to buy the cleaner, laundry detergent bubbles are the alternative?

can you link me to one of the suede cleaners, jason mark or ez, whether its ebay or another merchant. cheapest option

I meant that you should use the ez cleaner, but if you are against buying it, you can use soapy water. Ill pm you the link to where you can buy it

It's very good for cleaning midsoles. Would reccomend detergent/dish soap > regular soap, it's more potent/stronger.

If it's a white midsole, and the detergent/soap doesn't completely take off stains, you could even bleach the midsole to whiten it. I've done it plenty of times on my 11's. Just be careful to not get it on the material other than the midsole. Good way to do it is put bleach on a toothbrush and brush the midsole and make sure to wash the bleach off of the midsole afterwards.

That's tough lol. Lol this is one reason why I only clear soles with the sun. But I'm not too sure that there's much to do. As others suggested, you could do a sole swap which isn't too hard, but it is kind of annoying/pain. Another idea that may work (but probably won't), is that you can dye the sole to a blueish/clearish tint color and then just regularly clear the rest of the soles so they look more in unison. Not too sure how to help, but good luck.

Looks like it's stained pretty good. First thing I would try is some detergent,warm water and a tooth brush or some Lincoln EZ cleaner. I feel like that might not do it though. Would recommend trying these tips:

I've got some nike sbs whos midsole around the toe is no longer white, trying to whiten it. will post pics and most likely attempt what you said
 
This has probably been asked a million times, (but u know its difficult to go over 381pages of content...)

What do u guys do to restore the leather on aqua8s? 

Do you guys use suede paint? or what do u do to restore the colour?

Try baby oil or if that don't work try Angelus suede dye

Umm... are you serious? Why would you even want to do that? The midsole is glued to the upper of the shoe, so if you cut out the piece of cardboard the entire shoe will come apart. Then you will have a piece of leather and a sole. That would ruin the shoe

As someone mentioned you can use baby oil to bring it back to life.

If there's blots or stains that caused a lot of discoloration (coffee,paint,etc.), could lightly dye those parts black again.
