:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

How would I fix this?

Just bought this and super worried that I wasted my money, googled and youtubed can't find nothing.
Hopefully someone can help me out, all I honestly want is to atleast replace the N

Yeah that video isn't what i'm looking for, and the guy deleted the tutorial.
If anyone has suggestions on a way to atleast get the "N" and the "A" back i'd be happy.

If you dont have the pieces that broke off, theres not much you can do. Some guys from airlegends made replacement backtabs, but im not sure is they still make them.

Saw a vid i believe link was posted where a guy replaced the jumpman with Nike on his 3s..believe he used wax to make the letters..below this guy uses a foam type material

Would a fabric steamer be a good option for these? Will I lose the tumble completely?

Anybody have any idea on what this yellow stuff is and how to get it off.. Shoes are perfect otherwise..

I believe that is glue, but its kinda hard to see whats going on in the pic. Is it on the inside of the shoe?
Yes it is on the inside of the shoe. But only on the underside of the eylets where the shoestrings come through about halfway down on both sides.

That is dried up glue that was used to stick the fabric together. If its not visable when youre wearing them, just leave it alone. You could try scraping it with a knife to see if it flakes off.

I noticed after today's treatment that the sole and the upper of my V were beginning to separate--might be the heat of the sun weakening the glue.  Any suggestions for this repair?

Happens all the time with older shoes and yes, it is the heat loosening the glue. Makes it a real pain sometimes, literally have to reglue segments of the sole every 2-3 sessions so the entire thing doesn't fall off on the 11's I'm doing now. Don't know what type of separation you got going on, so here's stuff to cover pretty much everything.

Yep, it was the first one.  Thanks, bud.  Repped!  I got to say there are lots of good folks in this thread.
