:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

so do i just poke a hole on the sole where the bump is?
Yes, but only do this if nike will not refund you.
Here is how I would do it

- get something small like a fine nail or needle
- poke the hole in the center of the bubble on the sole. you might have to push it in with pliers if it's too hard.
- once the expanded part had gone down, you could buy some glue or epoxy and seal the hole up so no water gets in there

If you pop the bubble, the shoe won't be as cushioned or bouncy as it was before, but atleast there won't be a big bump under your foot.

i need help on regluing these, because the old reglue was really sloppy i need to redo it again.  And how can i remove the old glue?

I had a couple questions. First, what water proofer is the best to use for shoes like Jordans?  Second,  is the Yellow Armor All ( the UV protectant) safe to use on the netting and clear soles of Jordan 5's? And is the yellow Armor All safe to use on all shoes no matter their color?     Thanks

1. Sof Sole Water Proofer at Finish Line is good

2. Yes

3. Safe to use on what part of the shoe?

Just bought these two (hated having to pay resale btw) haha
Both are DS, and both are starting to show slight yellowing on soles. I will be wearing them, is there anything I can do to slow the yellowing, or get rid of it on these white soles?

hi everyone

sorry for the question that has probably been made a lot of times..

The toebox of my Hare 7s got a bit stiff.

I was just wondering if baby oil/liquid silicone might do the job but I'm afraid that it could turn the color a bit darker...

can you advice?

thanks!

You did a good job.. Try using a better tape next time to get a better lines..(if ever you will try repainting again)

Eventually when you get more experience you can paint straight lines without tape. Just need a flat brush

Thanks, About the tape, yeah next time, will try to do that next time:smile: If im really really bored haha.
Yeah , its not easy to repaint, it takes time. Painting is the easy part for me, stripping the midsole paint is where i take my time .

Anybody ever tried cleaning the lebron mint x? Im just worried about the shoe being ashy after cleaning or fading...
