Try to use a little bit of nail Polish remover on a q tip to try to blend the Orange around the stain into it

They will take your money and not send you anything. And if they do it'll probably be 6-8 months before you get it.

A quick question here, borne from OCD.

How do you guys disinfect and remove bacteria from shoes with non-removable insoles? Had some mucky feet in one of my pairs recently without socks, and the thought is killing me. Bacteria. BACTERIA!!!

If youre not planning on selling them, just put some clear tape over it. If you're unsure if you're going to sell them or not get some seran wrap and make a small square that will fit over it and tape the sides down.

Wouldn't seran wrap wear off too easily. I do plan on keeping the shoe's, so I guess I'll use thick tape.

what happened? I bought from them, but in like summer of 2014

Freezer method will help
I read somewhere though that the freezer method only temporarily reduces odor, it doesn't actually kill or remove bacteria.

Some suggestions elsewhere include rubbing alcohol, but wouldn't that damage the shoe?

you can try to put a laundry dryer sheet in it and let it sit there OR you can get a cloth or toilet paper, put decent amount of baking soda on it, roll it up and keep it secure with a rubber band or string so the baking soda doesn't come out or touch the insole, and put it in your shoes, a similar concept to the smell balls they sell at footlocker. Keep it in there overnight and then put it in the freezer for good measure. Hope this helps

Freezing definitely kills bacteria
So I've sprayed Febreze all over, the anti-microbial type. Apparently they kill 99.9% of bacteria. Gave it a generous dose, letting it sit for 30 seconds and wiping off residue. No change to leather color or texture so far, haven't properly dried yet so can't tell for now. Maybe I'll throw them in the freezer for good measure once it dries completely. Wonder if anything bad will happen in the long run, dissolved glue or whatnot. Febreze is built for fabrics though, shouldn't be too harsh methinks?

Overkill!

The smell goes away.. But i feel more due to the cleaning chemical it have on it... Been doing that for a while now.... But not gonna lie it stinks lol.

Wouldn't it affect leather though, and the glue? Clorox is as harsh as they get.
As i said, i use it on the sock liner and insole only... Bacteria is mostly inside the shoe because of the sweat and heat the foot produce, so one ina while i swipe down the inside of the shoe.

I have a pair of fire red 5s 99 and needed sole swap I'm currently on the part of bonding the donnor to the outsole then onto the upper but I don't know what adhesive to use I've heard e6000, barge cement, and shoe glue as well as gorilla glue. So I need some direction on what to use and as well as if someone could message me about the process and see if I'm doing it right so far thanks
