Just got these Flu Game XII's and they appear to be super oxidized. Tried Jason Markk and no luck (that stuff doesn't work for me at all, btw). Any ideas?

Thanks, I started scrubbing it a bit and some of it came off.. But it started doing more harm than good, So I just left them alone.

Need some help. I have been seaglowing the bottoms of my XI Space Jams. This past session (3 days ago) and after I forgot to deactivate the seaglow after letting it dry. Now the soles are very slippery and dry. I tried to reactivate it by reapplying it and then using water to take it off but this hasnt helped. What are my options for getting the grip back on the soles? Sanding?

When you sea glow 11s you are supposed to cover the pods so it doesn't lose traction. It's kind of a lost cause, and please don't sand your shoes

I wipe off with a wet rag the pods when applying so its not the pods that lost traction its just the clear

Depends on how the shoe is laced. if the factory laced is tight then i unlace them ex. Air Jordan Retro VII. But if the factory lace isnt that tight and shoe is still loose the i will keep them laced up. good question

Yeah, the 7s are pretty tight, so are the 10s. Kinda OCD so if i unlace one, i'll unlace them all. I just want to know if tight factory laced shoes are ok for the shoe structure later on down the years.

Oh ok and no they are not, they will become sorta "stuck" like that if you know what i mean. they wont be the same anymore.

Nice job on tne sole swap i see you added a hint of yellow to the white for the vintage look.....nike air white cement true blue or fire red 3s are my next personal sole swap ill be doing

1. Concords. A. How do I clean the uppers? B. How do I clean the bottom midsole? Scared to just use water or shoe cleaner for fear of yellowing. C. What do you guys use to make the patent shiny again?
2. Playoff 12's. I have heel drag that I can get off with just simple shoe cleaner and scrub brush. What can I use to get that real deep down dirt?

Thank you! I worked really hard on them. I been wearing them everyday sporting that Nike Air. Breaking necks for sure. Especially the younger kids who were born AFTER the shoe was released which was in 1994 lol
1a. detergent and warm water will do fine to take out dirt or food stains.
1b. the midsole you can use a tooth brush and dish soap.
As long as you dry it promptly, they will not accelerate the yellowing process.
2, Retr0brite will remove any stain and it will also whiten midsoles and rubber
I want to see the fire reds the most! '06 does not do justice to the originals!

NT my lebron 8 v2 has soem grass stains on the upper around the midfoot where the holes are. The middle panel between the two flywire ones. I've tried magic eraser but some of it is still there, any ideas?

have you tried rubbing alcohol? IF possible, can you supply pictures?

This isn't necessarily restoration, but the left pair in my cool grey XI's just can't stop squeaking. I swapped the insoles for some zoom ones from the Flightposite IIs but switched the original insoles back in because they just didn't feel right. Since then anytime I wear them or step in them there has been a squeak and it's annoying as hell. Makes me not want to even wear them.
Has anyone has a problem like this at all (doesn't have to be the cool greys)??

Lots of shoes do this. The best solution is to take out the insoles and put baby powder underneath the insole. Then jump and dance around in your kicks to work in the powder until the squeak goes away.
I know it might sound like a joke but 100% srs this does work.
