my cdp 12's are comfortable but the 11's arent really comfortable at all. must be your foot man sorry.

It's not his foot because he's a size 8 and, these are a size 9.5 which were copped yesterday even thou they did have an 8. ( two months later)
He's just comparing the OG's to the CDP's material because, all we hear is ppl complaing about the CDP's.

my thoughts exactly, i think its the older heads with og's keepin this rumor afloat.
They just want ppl 2 have a negative opinion on the CDP, so their stuff will still
be ''EXCLUSIVE''.....

So you're saying you don't own any retro's at all? Don't get me wrong, I think you're absolutely right, not one retro has been"exactly" the same as the original, although the '99 retro IV's were mad close. Matter of fact the 1st few retro's were all pretty close(IV's, V's, VI's) after that they all started to change here and there whether it was color, comfort or quality. Every retro in every CDP was was acheaper version of the original, but no retro was more screwed up than the IV (not including the '99 version), it's a shame. All that being said Istill own my fair share of retro's, it's the closest thing we'll ever get, but the only packs I gave in for was the VI/XVII pack for the Carmines,and the VII/XVI pack for the Hare's, all the other's just weren't worht it to me.

I concur regarding the quality of OG XIIs. Everyone knows it's the best quality J on record in terms of durability. That said though, OG XIIs are SUPERUNCOMFY. They dig into my ankles like none other and I cannot stand to wear them for more than an hour or so. Retro XIIs, while obviously not as well built,are exponentially more comfortable than any of the OG XIIs. I actually like the CDP XII a lot compared to any of the other CDP releases. It's the best Jwe've seen in a few years. I got rid of all my CDP XIs but had to keep a pair of the XIIs

its tru og 12's are uncomfy.... but...
retro 12's from 2003-2004 are arguably the the only retro superior 2 an og shoe
all I'm saying is that they found a way 2 make the most durable Jordan ever, not so official.

^You cant say that......I have knee problems..... and my OGs and earlier retros were hella comfy and didnt make my knees swell when i walked or balled in them.But some of the more recent retros are harder, less comfy, and make my knees swell when i just walk in them. So i dont know about for some people, but for methe uncomfort of swollen knees isnt very enjoyable, and not being to find a brand new pair your favorite J's that you can wear because they skimped out onquality is rather disappointing, especially when you had a pair that you that could wear with no problems (So thats why im trying to find as many older retrosand OG as possible).
