I think Im actually gonna speed up in the future, once I start making real money. Right now, I only cop when a release I really like comes out, and dont evenbuy past releases, because Im trying to save for my future, but later I will be making enough money to have some left over to spend and hopefully JB will upthe quality by then, before I POOF and disappear!

ll never stop
im 15
most 15 year olds are buying all the new fusions but i but ogs with my money
i seldom buy new releases
if i do ever quit(which i wont)it wont be until i have 1-23 all og

I've pretty much stopped when I stopped having the desire to get the Jordans I want. Usually, when I do not get the Jordans I want on release day, I scourthe internet and ebay for good prices.
But now, like when I missed the CDP XI/XII, even though I wanted both real bad and was the only pack I wanted, it didn't motivate me enough to look forthem after I missed them.
I think that was a clear sign, to me at least, that I have moved on. I actually need to move and sell some of my shoes to make some room in my closet for othershoes (non-jordans) I've purchased.
I haven't even worn Jordans in about 2 years now.

I don't really have the push to buy jordans anymore,I think this package faze has really bothered me!...I'm really onto my Retro Nikes Though.

if u a ''sneakerhead'' you'll always buy sneakers.

But ''keeping up with the game and trying 2 cop almost evey 1''

once a person get 50 j's aint that enough?? They'll sit around and get old in the closet.

This idea of when to stop is how I came up with my blog/website name. The name ShoeAffliction comes from the idea that shoe collecting/buying
is like a disease that can only be managed from time to time. The
adrenaline of getting that fresh new pair of kicks can subdue the urge
until the next shoe release. When is it enough, never!

I know exactly what you mean. I sometimes wonder how can I wear 90 pairs of J's let alone 111 pairs of shoes, but then I go onto ebay or visit TSG/ NT andsee/ hear about a pair that I want and then the hunt begins. Working a third-shift job makes wearing them all the more difficult. I figure when I get a normal9-5 job, I'll start wearing them everyday like I use to two years ago.

true heads never stop. sometimes you go hard, sometimes you go slow.

being married and having a kid never affected my game.

i retired after 11/12 pack... im done with JB until they drop OG color retros again... and trust me i was collecting jays before nikes... so kill that noise

Im pretty much done after all my grails are accounted for ,,
Im getting close ,
though I think Ill always pick up retro plus ,if there fresh in c/w....

I hit 30 last month....Im married with a 2 yr old, and have been collecting (I didnt realize it then) since 95. I always got all the OG AJ's when they cameout since the OG IV's. I think the actual collecting started when my foot stopped growing and I couldnt outgrow them. I dont see myself slowing down, eventhough Im seriously running out of room to store them, anytime soon. Especailly with some of the releases this year.

Collecting J's is an addiction you can be proud of....Unless you pay for them before your mortgage payment.

yeah i'm turning 32 in a second and i think the shoe collection will continue to grow regardless. quality > quantity though i have learned that lesson. cant just purchase everything.

I'm 34 and will never stop but JB has definitely made it VERY easy to slow down this year with the slew of garbage that they call shoes that are comingout.

Your boy hit the 3-0 last month. The day that I wake up and look at my collection, and a tear don't come from my eye.....that's when I know it'sgonna be time to wrap it up.

I'm not sure when I'll ever stop. I see it being one of those hobbies that even if I'm old and have a real job I could see myself picking up olderones I love/missed out on.
