didnt realize the year...

had internet but wasnt researchin kicks.....

still wound up with about 5 of these, GOOD YEAR.....

its only been a couple of years ive been gettin them on my own..
in 02 it was only 1 or 2 pairs for the whole semester

2001 > 2002....however my Wht/Varsity-Red XVIIs were my first pairs from finishline. shout outs to my cuzz out in cali for getting me these! still got themman!
 
2001 was good but good thing i been buying jordans since 1994 but looking at all these heat and with the job i have now i would had been good to go
 
prices and no hype, I liked shoes but was not into release dates and such since I was only 12 or 13, but I remember walking into Champs to get a new pair ofshoes and they had the Retro 9's it was towards the end of January like 2 weeks after the release date, if only it was like that now
 
Ah, the good ol' days (2001). I miss my high school days when I would skip on Wednesdays for the latest pick up.
 
yea 2001 was better, but those Vii's are sexy. and those Vi's boots haha

lol for reals, me too. and when i would go to shoe stores and see "sold out" jordans that is were i knew i missed out.

when i saw the price tag on the 17's....it turned me off from jordans (i was a broke college student) - i liked 94, 99, 01, 08
 
there were some pretty ill releases in 02 and i got a bunch of them..... too bad i dont have any of them any more!
 
Dang I didn't realize how much I spent in '02 until I stumbled upon this topic.. I copped at least 13 pairs of J's alone that year.(half of whichare still DS)

Yeah man 2000-2001 was an awesome year for us true Jordan heads. I loved having the employee discount with nike. I remember getting all the XI retros forabout 65.00 a pair. I remember there was no camping out for any kicks too. Man those were the days
 
I love the look the look of those XVII's but damn, they had a steep price back then, I just looked at em, but I stumbled onto the website because I wassearching for the VI boots.lol, I wish I cOULD get my hands on those Croc skins 17's. oh well, I will one day
 
that year i got the white, black + lows, red , and carolina XVIIs. white, blue, flint and cool grey IXs. when i look back all i should have focused on was theHigh tops but i wouldnt be able to fit them now anyways.
