Hey, I was wondering what people really think about the 2009's. I know the price is high, and people think they look like Reeboks, but we all havesupported some J's that have not looked as good (anyone remember the XV's). I'm on the fence myself as to whether I will buy them. But what Iwant to know is whether we really don't like them, or we are all following the crowd.? I mean if they were called the XXIV's would people feel the sameway? Think about it. Lets gets some real talk going.

i don't care if they were xxiv's or 2009's, i have bought all kinds of JB stuff, as long as i like something they release then i'm going to tryto get them

u can find the whites ones for cheap on ebay.cheapest i seen was 140 shipped.i got the black ones of flightclub and i think they are pretty nice in person.theyare extremely comfortable and to answer ur question i think people will jump on the band wagon in time.

I like only 1 colorway of the 2009's and that's the White Pair. But, I won't pair 190 for them.

I checked them out the other day and I was shocked they are actually pretty good quality but still not worth the price tag IMO. I might cop the black white andred ones.

Yeah I'm leaning on the white pair. But I don't want to pay the $190 retail. However there are some websites selling them for $150 - $175. I am notpersuaded by what others think, but the price has me on the fence. Nevertheless I am hearing amazing things about the shoes from everyone who copped them. Maybe the websites would be a good place for those looking for a lower price.

I kind of agrre with you. I think many people just jumped the band wagon. Just because their is no hype, there is no re-sell value, and not many people arewearing them many people just dont want to buy them, but i might be wrong. Hype sells.

But I do think the price is high.

I have the white pair, and I like them. Everybody is going to have their own opinion and that's the great thing...not a thing wrong with that. The price ishigh imo, so this might be the only pair of 2009's I get.

save your money for some real heat coming out soon instead op

i heard AJ 2009 is a good baller shoes, but for right now the economic , the price is too high, so many people lost job!! MJ need to think about our pocket, noalways his own!!!

i never jumped on a bandwagon. i hated them from the jump and it just seemed like everyone agreed, but i've been hating them less lately. i finally sawthem in the mall, and they are not horrible. they're not my style of shoe, but definitely not horrible. if they were cheaper, i probably still wouldntcop cause they're not really something i would wear, but that price tag insures that i will probably never own a pair. if i had to pick a color though, itwould be the white ones that are out now.

I defintley feel everyone on the price, cause the economy is forcing many of us to prioritize. But I'm wondering if those who are following the crowd willthink differently in time if the crowd changes their mind. Back in '96 when the XI's dropped, nobody liked them except for some hardcore Jordan heads. Then after a few years people appreciated the value of the shoe. When the retros released in 2000 the rest was history. I'm wondering if this couldhappen here. But I don't mean to suggest the 2009's are like the XI's in any way (much respect to the grails).
