39.99?  Out of all the non-og colorways, these are just about the only ones I would be interested for the right price (I don't hate the friends and familys either).

Good pick-up! Probably my favorite retro+ colorway for the Attaq 1.

My brother just bought the LSU version last week at Marshalls and he couldn't get over the quality and attention to detail Reebok put in these shoes. $40 is a steal!

I was cool with the brick citys until i went to marshalls and saw the red patent leather vectors... Totally not my style

Just found out Nerlens Noel has already parted ways with Reebok

.  Was really looking forward to the Shaq models seeing more court time, and to Reebok having a potentially upper echelon player for the first time in a while.  This is probably heresy on this site, but would reebok have more success with the younger generation with a more slimmed down retro a la JB?

A big guy rocking shaqs would've been nice. But, if reebok can't keep Noel when he hasn't played a game, they're in trouble...

Absolutely not my friend. The Reebok diehards (like myself) would not buy the (modified) shoe even at $20 and the average consumer might give it a look at $40. They are better off putting out an accurate (as much as possible) product and take a chance on the diehards paying MSRP or slight percentage off before it ultimately hits clearance.

The main issue at hand is that Reebok has been irrelevant for a decade and it has damaged the brand. When Adidas purchased Reebok in '05 they should've started retroing the 90s Reebok catalog immediately as it would've already been close to a decade or well over a decade (for some models). The issue now is that they are bringing back (amazing) shoes almost 2 decades after they originally dropped and they are not resonating with the new generation while the older cats don't have the funds, space, etc... to purchase more than one or two pairs of a colourway. On top of that they are doing a piss poor job of promoting and advertising the product. Is it really that hard to give out free merchandise to celebrities, athletes, etc...?

Yep that is the situation outlined, it all sums it up very accurate. We are keep beating that dead horse, and there is no one to hear us.

That's why I think the deal should be taken up to bought by that foreign group. You have a private group running the company, they will be more focus on making a profit from their investment. Adidas is a large but has never been the marquee shoe company. Adding a struggling Reebok to a already mediocre outfit was never a great move. If Reebok could get the right direction and focus, they could pass Adidas like UA has done. Adidas has a hard time appealing to the Western world. Maybe it's the German connection thing. Just my 2 cents on this Walking Dead horse

Billy Hoyles came in today. Many 90's heads in here so here they are with my OG Shaq Attaq. And yes...the pump is functional. I would put them on par quality wise with Reebok...but that price :smh: Nostalgia won out though.

I know that I am a minority, but I never liked any of the super high models Nike or Reebok, all that late 80's and early 90's were and are not my coup of tea. And Nike are really pushing it with that $200, and for the 3 pump models they pushed out back in the day, I always felt that they did a Richard move to get more popularity and say - Look at us we have Pump too, when they stole the idea straight from Reebok.

Yeah its disgusting. LOL and they have the audacity to ask $150 for them joints, clearly people lost connection with the reality.

I'm actually kinda surprised the sky top thing is not up your alley, but no big deal lol. Reebok, IMO clearly won the "Pump" battle back then. As their entire line had Pump going across it. Nike had only 3 models and the Air Pressure, if you ask me, was completely impractical. But again, figured a lot of guys in here into the skytop thing so figured I'd post.

OAN...the Brick City IV??? Vomit...why couldn't they have kept the Attaq Brick City theme/colors? Makes too much sense I guess.

Yeah not my thing, never been. Probably because when I really started paying attention to kicks, the ultra top models were more rare and the mids were super popular, but hey if you like it, don't let anyone rain on your parade, thats all that maters, buy what you like.

Duno whats the issue you are having with them joints, for me they are super comfortable, heel cushioning is great to me.

Same here. They slip on so easily, and like most of Reebok's current retro line, there is PLENTY of room. Very TTS, and some narrow footers could probably size down by a half.

Now...there is always the chance that we're reading your original post incorrectly NK...

Anyone know of a marshals in Ct that still has some....any of the various color ways
