I will wait to reserve judgment until i see the whole shoe but from the little shown it doesn't look bad. The shoe doesn't look modern and has that 90's look. As far as the branding is concerned, the Shaq on the tongue can go somewhere else. I think Shaq really messed up his brand by taking it to Payless.

I'm not sure how well they would sell...but seems like a large chunk of what Reebok release ends up 50% off anyway...  So maybe they just don't care.
 
I want to hate them, really, but they look pretty clean actually. The only problem I have is that most likely we will not see ll or lll on their own any time soon.

Lol...this basically. I used to cop all kinds of stuff just because I could...then wear it because I had it. So silly...lots of pairs I bought "just because". Sold off pretty much all my nonsense. I still have roughly 100 pairs left but it all gets worn on a regular basis since I can wear my kicks to work.

I met a dude from the LeBron threads for a custom...he told me he had 23 pairs of the XI, but hasn't worn anything yet. Like what's the point? Maybe it's me and I'm getting old :rolleyes
 
^You're getting old like the rest of us. There used to be a time when most of us had 1-2 pairs of sneakers for the school year. Then when we got our initial jobs as a teen we bought a little more, but we still wore them and we always wanted the newest kicks. Keeping kicks just for the sake of it was unheard when I was growing up. Fresh kicks were the norm, that's what the chicks were checking for. Your kicks that looked ran over by a tank, usually left you by yourself. Now, not so much. It's widely accepted and popular to keep kicks you might never see a retro of or ones you thoroughly enjoy? But 23 pairs of a single model is eye-popping. But not wearing them takes it to an entirely new level. Some of these so-called sneaker enthusiasts need to be featured on a special edition of Hoarders.
 
I can probably be called a hoarder, I have close to 200 pairs, but only wear about 50 pairs, the rest are just too valuable for me just destroy outside the house, but at least I wear them in the house.
 
I have probably around 100 or so sneakers. My collection is pretty diverse, but I probably wear a handful regularly. I wear a uniform for work so I don't get to work too many into the rotation the way I would like. There are a few pairs that I'll probably never unDS because they mean too much to me.
 
I'm around that 100 pair mark also. Most worn, although a few not yet. Sadly some of the early-to-mid-'90s stuff had to go recently as the midsoles (and some uppers) have just fallen apart. Heck, with JB shoes it was some 2000-2002 era retros that have died. Quality just not there (to the surprise of nobody!).
 
Yeah another reason, I can't really wear a lot of my loud kicks at the office, which pretty much leaves me with the weekend wear.
 
No wearing shoes due to age or sentimental value makes total sense. The sentiment is THE reason you purchased them. Copping every released colorway of a model, there is no reason for it, especially not wearing anything. I just SMH :rolleyes
 
And what everyone is saying is true. I wear a military uniform 5-6 a week, depending on the situation. Like someone mentioned above, I have purged my collection numerous times to boil it down to things that are sentimental and everyday usage. I've got Maesto 1's and OG Flight Lite 2's from 91-92, that I'll never get rid of. I also benefit from the hardwood floors in my house that irritates my reconstructed ankle when in just socks. So I wear sneakers every day regardless. What I mean by hoarding, is the guy/gal that buys the latest and greatest just in the hopes that value increases. All in all nothing wrong with that. But keep true to what you are. If you're a pure reseller, then say just that. I'd prefer someone be up front with that, instead of spouting off useless facts that anyone can Google and call themselves a collector.
