Air Jordan Altitudes 13's: Remember the hype on these?

I was at GSP mall in NJ for the release of these and people broke the sliding glass doors, security and cops came by tried to form lines, as soon as the doorswere opened it was just a mad dash and people were running to footaction. I was like the 7TH person running my %%+ off to get there at least 7th if notearlier. After a 200 ft str8 away you have to make a hard left, little be known to us THERE WAS A WORKER SPEEDING DOWN THE MAIN PATH IN A FORKLIFT AND WHEN WEWENT TO MAKE THAT HARD LEFT THE FIRST 2 KIDS GOT HIT LMAO. They didnt get seriously hurt, but enough for me to cut them both and cut another 2 off along theway without the help of a forklift. 3rd in line got my pairs.

Ahh I remember I went on rd to cop these and when I got their I had my pair and was at the cash register and I had forgot my money and started to cry

these would have went harder if the green was replaced by red
but the 13'salready had four or five pairs with red in them
 
got them a month early, got a 2nd pair about 1.5 years ago.
I love 13s, I love all black or mainly black sneakers, don't regret it at all.

or you could have just gone to against all odds, this was the first/or one of the first l'style release Jordans and were in new stores no onethought they'd be in.
also Athlete's foot had preorders early and our fav boutique got them overseas a month early
 
I was in HS. I remember seeing one kid with them n was like oh they cool. But, ill take black n red 13's>flint greys>black maize low>altitudes.Burrr

yup feb 26. 2005 i was 15 heard they wer cummin out and i was plannin on coppin umm dat mornin and wearin umm to homecomin dat nite well i walked to shiekh anther was a line so i went to footaction an cuz no 1 was ther and people started showin up an waitin wit me so i thought footaction was really gettin umm so acuple hrs pass an we finally get ahold of footaction an they said they wernt gettin them so i walk to shiekh an ask for a sz 8 an he pointed to da counterwhere sum female was buyin them now thas a devastatin day i finally got umm in 07 frm flightclub but i had to pay 310 but i think it was well worth it... thasma story......THE END
 
i dint pick em up on RD but got 2 off ebay, got my first one for $250 and got lucky and got the second one for $170....need another to wear now....any VNDSaltitudes in sz 10.5 or 11 let me know
 
man i remember this day like it was my last birthday.
i went to line up at 3 at night ,there were about 10 people ahead of me and about 80 behind me.
so anyways when it was about to be time to go inside the mall some major BS happened
the old ladies that go for their walk in the malls in the morning were imposters!!!!
they were actually the grandmas of some people who wanted the shoes,they skipped us all and bought every last pair ,i swear man i wanted to break all of theirhips so bad.
i reported the store after that happened but i still didnt get my pair.
the biggest release dissapointment in my whole life.
to top it all off i won a pair on ebay a few months later and they turned out to be fakes.
