yeah we recorded 40+ tracks for it. one of the dudes (B-Nyce) actually got signed a couple of months ago so theres a few songs we had that i wasFIENDING to put on the tape (they were actually on the original zshare i put up, but he made me take em off before he got into *%%$ with his manager so anyonethat copped within the first 20 got some exclusive fire that they're gonna hear on hot 97 -- either with him on it or whatever artist he sells the songs to-- in the next year... )

so after we cut those B Nyce joints we were left with about 35 or so songs a bunch of which were GARBAGE so we got it down to 29 pretty easy, but from there wereally didn't know how to structure it. The futuristic beats were a given and we sort of had the concept, but we realized we had 3 EPs instead of onecumulative album. So we dropped the few songs that we felt we could rerecord and do better in the future, picked the 19 we liked the most and wanted todefinitely get out, and the two bonus' are songs that were close to our heart for different reasons.

We have so many songs and beats left over though, we def want to put out another tape in the next couple of months.

Anyways, thanks for checkin my *%%$ out Time, your review was honest and I could tell you really sat and listen to it so I appreciate that.

It's been a rough few weeks for me and I always keep the Zune on random so I'm not really sure of the order but I finally got through it. I have somedown time here at work so here goes...


Team Scene - Earth Girls are Easy

Take Off Your Cool - I recognize the old school style/Team Scene vibe fusion going on here but I thought the flow was just too old school for me. This was likea throw back to like 88 or something for me.

U.K. Bonus Track #2 In My "Something" - I REALLY didn't like the beat on this one. I liked the flow of it i thought DV was on point with hislyrics on it but not enough to make me come back to this track.

Dressed to Kill - This is a great use of the Autotune effect, I really liked this one. I could spin this one in my Friday night after the shower playlist,right between So Fresh so Clean and Circulate.

Without a Touch - I thought the beat was cool (Cookin Soul? For Real?) I hated the singing though. I can appreciate the switch in style though. Just missed mewith this one. The hook was sub par compared to the rest of the songs on the album.

Broken Glasses - Cool mix of beat and flows but I didn't like DV's flow on this one.

Sunlight - Really didn't like the hook on this one (Do it for my maaa-muuuuuhhh). No disrespect of course. It might have been better just to let the sampleride. Plus the beat was too slow I thought the vocals suffered/had to adjust too much for the slow beat.

Fall Back - The first one I picked as a favorite. I think the beat knocks on this and I like the chant for the hook. Very aggressive. I like the flow the beatthe whole concept.

Hush and Go to Sleep - I HATE the hook on this one. Swagger by the boatload?

Downgrade Girl - Didn't like the Autotune on this one, another throwback feel beat. (OH WAIT, this is more like Ron Brows and less like T.Pain) Either way,I ain't like it. The verses are on topic but the beat/hook kill this one for me.

Dark Days - The flow and lyrics from everybody on this come through, I really get down with the vocals. I also dig the beat it fits perfectly. The hook wouldhave been better without Autotune. Plus the hook was too serious or hard or something.
