Is Eric Avar the goat designer of Nike performance kicks ?

Jordan x Pippen sounds dope too. Something like "Chicago tribute" or "Chicago's Greatest duo". I'm not as big a fan of Pippens as Iam of Pennys though. I think the possibilities are endless. It's all about proper execution.

i think when nike runs out of ideas it will happen.... which probably means "around the corner", since nike and jordan are on that fusion phase,right....?

but ya, back to the topic before ppl start getting upset and mark you for dead

later-

Dave Dombrow, Tate Kuerbis, and E. Scott Morris have also created some incredible shoes.

All designers draw inspiration from other things. Like it or not, fusing classic concepts together is a great idea.

It seems to be the direction Nike and JB are going anyway as far as I'm concerned. So if they are gonna do it, please do it right.

But back to topic. Sorry, I didn't mean to thread jack.

i second his motion! sneakerhead's need kicksology.net back! to stem the tide of ignorance and bust a lot of misconceptions about performance kix!

I'm trying to visualize the samples in his cube. If I remember correctly, he was lead design or contributed to the following:
- Air Stimulus Flight

- Air Flight Vroomlicious

Yeah I heard E. Scot Morris is darn good. I heard he practically does everything by hand, like renderings, and techpacks too.

Is there any truth to the Jordan 25 being a Tinker/Eric collabo? Also, is it really gonna be a FOAM fusion type design? This info was posted in the Jordanforum. Can any 1 shed any light?

Yeah.. Tate and E. Scott I know well... not Save so much.. but I remember when Tate left Jordan to go to Tennis... I was like Whaaat? but the next Tate wasMike D...

E. Scott was responsible for many of our Hits of the 90s...ohhhh yeaaah...

If you have ever been around him you are infected by his positivity. He almost NEVER sits down when doin design. His home is basically an ODE to the type ofperson he is. That joint is PHAT!! lol I learned ALOT from him.

Im sorry he's not in the Football category anymore.

I meant to answer this.. but that Collab is going to be on a Multi Layer level.. much like many other Tinker designs that ONLY Tinker gets creditfor. Tinker actually prefers and will be the first to tell people who assisted on projects, but Marketing Loves to put him out front to perhaps give thedesign more merit or meaning for whatever reasons.

I myself wouldn't have have wanted credit for the XX3 if I were the other designers, cause Tinkers version of inspiration and others are far different. Offthe books of course.

Not to whinge about this much, but this annoys me. It seems counterproductive to tout rolling Tinker out every now and again. You know what Imean? I would venture to say that not bigging up your other designers is a bad thing. "This Air Jordan was designed by Tinker" tells me more abouttheir views on the other shoes than it does the Tinker designed one.

So do you know if it's gonna be a foam based Jordan?
