If you look up repos, there are ridic prices. Down here theres an 04 SL500 with 50000 miles for 21Gs, 06 Range Rover Supercharged with 40000 miles for 23Gs anda 05 Continental GT with 12000 miles for 80Gs, point is theres def some steals
 
I don't know where ya'll living. I live in NYC. Houses cost a brick. Moving from Cali to TX is not "doing it." If anything, thast not doing it.

Ya'll dudes giving poor advice, suggest a car and keep it moving.

I would go with an Acura TSX or TL (2005-2008), you can usually find them for under 22k.

The key to buying a home (not a house, there is a difference), is buying it where you want to live. Don't be like the folks that buy a home, yet hatewhere they live, but hey the mortgage is cheap. "I have to go to bed, I have a 1-2 hour commute to my office job that is in the city",

First of all congrats, did you choose your own numbers or was it computer generated.

Secondly, 20-25K is a great budget to have on a car, don't spend anything more you can find some great bargains since nobody is spending money right now. Iwould cop a Maxima.

If I had that money I would throw a down payment on a crib just because its the best investment you can make, shoot even if you can't afford to pay amortgage I would rent the damn house and have someone else pay for it (and even make a profit if you buy a 2 or 3 family crib), but that's just mythinking.

The reason these cars are so cheap is that they usually have baggage. Most, if not all have a salvaged title. Second, they are not certifiedwhich means "what you see is what you get". Finally, these cars do not have warranty. Do not buy a luxury car at an auction. What you save, youwill pay out of your pockets when it comes time to service or repair your vehicle.

Good luck trying to sell a car with a salvage title.

Invest in CDs so your money can gain what little interest the banks offer. Plus you wont be tempted to spend your money. Also invest some of it. But withthe stock market the way it is, You have to be wise. I suggest Charles Swab or Edward Jones.

Back to subject at hand. If you looking for a luxury car, look at a Lexus, Acura, BMW, or Infinity.

I suggest a Lexus GS 430....Good Value, Good Engine, and it is in the Toyota Family meaning it has a GOOD REPUTATION. It wont lose value at all.

A car is the worst investment. A house with that money is plausible, especially in this market, a condo downtown in a medium city could go for that. It is yourmoney though. I would get a Beamer.
 
Congrats lucky SOB! Damn too bad you didn't hit the mega number. Spend it wisely! You're in college so you don't need something too fancy. I wouldgo with an Acura RL or Infiniti m45.
